I was there when they were filming this in Budapest,Hungary. Almost the whole railway station was closed and many Hungarian police car and oldcar parked there. Back then I didn't know that it is a Korean movie. When I started to watch the movie I was like "oh my god-oh my god the movie was filmed here" that lasted about 10 minutes

wow, wow, wow,So it is good, I've been in Budapest, but unfortunately not as it revolved, damage.

IRIS I love the series, not movie because it's completely different, in the series are scenes of cooperation between HWA and Sun Kim Hyung Jun and she feels love for him. The movie is nothing. And other great scenes omitted far .. TOP. Park Cheol Yeong is alive, his role in the continuing series of Athena: Goddess Of War series and do not know who shot Kim Hyung Jun.

I can't stand to even think about this drama. It is literally one of my favorites and the last episode is the most unforgettable thing i have ever seen. I was depressed for weeks.

At first I just wanted to see it because of top but then Lee Byung Hun <3 stole my heart. I love the way he talks and smiles and laughs. Thats what made this drama so hard to forget. There is an IRIS 2 this year, I'm not prepared.

Not necessary to watch Iris before Athena but it helps and both are worth seeing.

It's also a good idea to see the film Shiri as some of the plot points in Iris are referrential to that story, as well as having an actor in common.

Oh, back to my first example "Mission Impossible' : When Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) runs down to the sedan in which his female team member was waiting. You guys remember the scene? Yep, the sedan blows up right in front of his eyes. The IRIS writer copied that scene exactly too! TK1 (Lee Byung Hun) runs down to the sedan in which Choi Seung Hee (Kim Tae Hee) was waiting. Then, the sedan blows up right in front of his eyes! Come on! Anyway, to his mind, she's dead, and it's time for revenge.

Anyway, it's no secret Koreans enjoy copying other people's work. But even if I believe that, I loved the first few episodes of The IRIS! When TK1 gets betrayed after he completes his job (assassination), the narrow escapes, and his determination he would come back to Korea alive and seek revenge against Baek San, my heart was pounding and my blood was boiling. But since he successfully came back to Korea, the story became weaker and weaker. The story of revenge became the story of stupidity

I wonder if people remember Tom Cruise's first Mission Impossible. Ethan Hunt's entire team members gets wiped out one night, and it was all his boss's doing. I'm sure the 'IRIS' author got the idea from it but slightly changed it just not to get caught. Now, when being chased by a chopper with a missile, the chopper fires the missile, and TK1 gets flown 6 feet before hitting the side of a car. It's a total replica of the scene from Mission Impossible 3! Hey, Tom Cruise, are you listening?

TK1 kills Baek San and destroys the entire 'IRIS' organization. 3. Choi Seung Hee should have stayed dead since the car exploded. 4. After killing all the bad guys, TK1 makes love to the North Korean female agent who's been in one way love with him. Now, that will be not only a great drama but also a movie.

Choi Seung-hee was pointing her rifle at the president (and Hyun Jun) first, but right after then she changed her mind and killed all the other 2 mercenaries who has been acting as they are PSS snipers.

That's the only answer to know, why she has been informed about that the snipers were terrorists(mercenaries) in real. And how could they mistify NSS/NIS operators during the hostage rescue situation? (They told, that they've killed the wrong persons, because the hostage takers gave their clothes to the hostages or somehow.) Btw, Hyun Jun eliminated all the hostage takers, that left behind after their leader argued with Jin Sa Woo and started to gun each other. Logical somersault?

Obviously it wasn't Mr Black personally who shooted down Hyun Sun, butmore like one of those who ordered the assasination (he has been told to be punished tasting the forbidden fruit - Choi Seung-hee) from IRIS. Baek San has been jailed separately in a secret place knowing about nothing (remember, not even the president's aministration was informed about that, because of information leaking). I wonder if Choi Seung-hee why decided to participate in the assasination of the president.

I think it's pretty good so far. What I really hate is the superficial love-story that completely breaks the scheme to the point where I just can't wait for either one of them to get killed. The worst thing is, I know that even if they do end up dead, the director will fill half an episode with flashbacks.

Having watched only up to episode 8 (the one where they jump off the dam), because, admittedly, I'm having problems finding the subtitles (rather than some poor quality stream with embedded ones), I think it really got a lot better. Especially once they introduced the female DPRK agent to the main plot. At least now there's one character, who acts like a total badass and isn't fond of sobbing and acting depressed all the time. :)

i actually agree with you. i wouldnt actually mind though as i like all those movies and drama. but unfortunately even with all that base from which they can make a great drama from, they once again like all korean drama start to focus on a dragged out love story. wish they could focus a bit more on the conspiracy or mission watever apossed to 10epis on rommance scenes and flash backs. As a korean that loves to watch all dramas and movies korean and american i say this from a non bias view. lolz
