  • This is the most informative video I've seen on cloth diapers. Thanks!

  • who can send me some cloth diapers

  • I might do cloth diapers when I have kids, but I'm not sure yet. I have a few more years to decide though

  • oh the insert is like a pad for ur period! now i understand this... im taking the baby-sitting course so i hav to know this lol

  • When you were putting her legs back through the pants and she looked up and smiled at the camera, I nearly died. She is so cute!

  • Prefolds are great for cleaning rag around the house.

  • I was wondering how you clean a dirty one I figure some people would find that gross to watch but I'm curious and interested in using the cloth diapers.

  • I've been thinking of using cloth for baby #2 but wasn't sure how. Awesome video and so happy to see daddy caring so much!

  • Sweet. Daddy changing the nappy. Good to see! What a cute little girl.

  • Adorable baby! Great job dad, very informative.

  • This baby is so adorable:)

And why are yall having a tree-hugin debate on a baby youtube video?

    Sheesh!

  • I don't know if this is a silly question. But what happens when you need to change your babies diaper out in public? What do you do with the dirty diaper? lol

  • @cheyanne2010 you put it in a bag and take it home and wash it, instead of putting it in a bag and throwing it in a trash can.

  • @cheyanne2010 It's actually very easy. I have a "wet bag" it zippers and it is water proof. You change the diaper the same way you would a disposable and then put it in the wet bag instead of the trash.

  • This is really good. I have wanted to use cloth nappies because they are better for the environment, but always thought they are so much more work. But that looks really easy and doable:)

  • HAHAHA

  • he mentions his wife

  • Very informative

  • how much eco is it to fill up the landfills with disposables when you use less water and less chemicals to wash cloth than a company uses to make a disposabe???? who wants to risk harming a babies reproductive organs with the horrible chemicals in disposable diapers anyway??? the chemicals are in contact with baby's skin all night and all day..... so it's best to use pure chemical free cloth- how hard is it not to see the benifit all around?

  • Actually disposables are made with chemicals... Chlorine.. and others read the labels.... Cloth is WAY better, cheaper, and thats another reason using Chalies Soap is important... chemical and perfume free... very gentle on baby skin.

  • water can be reclaimed. and usually is. dumping feces and and urine along with the chemicals and plastics used in disposables into landfills cannot be undone.

  • just the video i was looking for. im expecting a lil one in just days and i really like the prorap cloth diapers. im interested in buying them and this video is perfect. thank you. you are a really good dad.

  • thanks for this! Very helpful!

  • No they don't. You change them every 2 hours and most cloth diapers pull the moisture away from the babies skin.

  • oh, my mom told me that, ut that was lke 14 years ago, so i'm sure they have improved

  • This is a great video because it shows a very competent and loving father using cloth diapers. He and the person taking the video are well aware what the baby is doing and don't need anyones advice.

  • OMG. THIS GUY OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T TURN HIS BACK ON THE BABY. he was simply beside the baby. and the little girl was not moving around, or standing up. and its not as if the person takin the video couldn't tell him if his daughter is about to jump. ...

  • Thank you for posting this video. All the complainers on this video are really idiots because you did NOTHING wrong here in this video, such as turning around. For god's sake you're having it video taped too so she's being watched carefully. She is also a very cute adorable and beautiful baby =]

  • Thanks for posting that. Its good to see a dad so comfortable with cloth diapering! We are planning on using CDs when our baby comes this fall and my husbands a little hesitant so I can't wait to show him this! Oh, and your daughter is adorable!!!

  • He didn't turn around...get a life!

  • thanks for the vid! heres a free blog you can read for other helpful tips on babies!

  • I love this video, I first watched it several months ago. It really helped me figure out what I need to put my baby in cloth diapers. Thank you. Also this is kind of a silly question but, where can you get that neat towel rack thingy you have on your wall? I love it!

  • I don't think it's a towel rack... I think it's a heater. We have one in our bathroom too. It's great cause while it heats the bathroom, it also keeps your towels nice and toasty for when you come out of the shower.

  • Thank you so much for this video! My husband and I just decided to use prefolds and it's nice to see they are relatively easy to use!

  • Go daddy!! Its so nice to see a man doing one of these videos

  • Adica is a pretty name!

    Nice video.

  • Hahahaha funny.

  • Thanks that was really helpful. I just started babysitting, and I needed to know that! What are the dis/advantages with a cloth diaped compared to a disposable one? Thats so great of you! A daddy who is such an expert on diaper changing!

  • to Wassup23596: the only disadvantage might be that you have to wash the diaper, LOL. But otherwise cloth is healthier for baby, a lot less expensive, they hold in poo and pee better than paper diapers and they are definitely better all around.

  • This was a great video... very thorough! We've been CD'ing our daughter for 5 months now because she got diaper rash from all the disposables we'd tried. We're saving so much money now and using cloth is NOT the hassle I expected! Plus it's so much better for the environment.

If someone told me when I was single that someday I would be excited about diapers, I would never have believed them :) Your kiddo is ADORABLE, btw :)

  • where can i buy those?

  • You can buy cloth diapers at tons of places online. Do a google search for cloth diapers and you will find many shops. I like kelly's closet and jillians drawers. Thirsties covers are my personal favorite because they are made of better material and have fold down tabs for the laundry. Proraps are OK though.

  • Where do you get that kind?

  • where did you get the travel bag from?

  • So proud of you a daddy showing off his skills as a diaper changing pro!!! Thanks for sharing for the month of April we are going to try cloth at home a disposable at daycare (they won't use cloth) and if we have an easy go of it, we will continue

  • I have a combination of all-in-ones, fitteds, and prefolds (which I intend to pin or Snappi). BUT, it NEVER occured to me to fold it that other way you showed, for a smaller baby!! I will have to keep that in mind! I have always just seen them folded in thirds lengthwise! Cool!

  • do you hae to wash it?

  • Well you wouldn't throw it away. Or what is the point?

  • thanks for the video! and by the way your baby girl is soo beautiful

  • Why is better the cloth diaper than the regular one?

are they better? are those healthy?

  • Hey Lezlie15,

    Here are a few reasons:

    1) cheaper (you only buy the diaper once)

    2) more absorbent (in my experience)

    3) better for the environment

  • And the cotton is better for a little baby's skin ;)

  • @ licorne6: Please prove that cloth diapers are any of those things.

Also take note: oppinions do NOT equal fact. Educate yourself. Please.

  • lol think about when the kid grows up and founds out that she is getting her diaper changed on the internet for all to see... lol shed be pissed

  • I have a cloth demonstration on my YT page too. ;-) Very awesome seeing a DAD doing it! Go dad! :-D

  • Great clip! Been considering cloth diapering for our future baby and you made it look SO easy. Thanks!

  • Go dad! Great to see a dad taking part in his childs care!

  • you kinda look like tony hawk

  • I love how its a guy showing how to change the diaper

  • Ditto! Love the babies name too.

  • dido

  • thanks! informative.
