technically it's both. a no scope is when you shoot without scoping, which he did. and a blindfire is when you shoot without aiming, so your shooting blindly, hence the name blindfire. in order to blindfire you just have to fire from the hip without pressing the L trigger.

shooting from the hip in Call of Duty is when you have no hud. IE Your cross hairs are taken off no radar, and other shit off the hud, same with halo. In Call of Duty and in Halo the gun is raised above their hip. and thats why you have crosshairs.

Gears is a Third Person Shooter, very unique. Why would they call it shooting from the hip when you can get in cover and BLIDFIRE around and over cover.
