  • why go to an other planet when we can't even sustain this one?

  • this reminds me of a boring science video my teacher put on one day

  • More Transparency vids please

  • The Russians have the best satellite ability, something like half of their satellite fleet are basically reserved for kamikaze space weapons so NATO can't have satellite communication or GPS guidance on their ICBMs in the case that WWIII breaks out.

  • @adrastea99 GPS guidance on their ICBMs ? mmh... "Select your destination... You choosed Moscow...Press "launch"...Turn on the right at 600 meters,... Turn on the right at 300 meters...100 meters...Well done ! You've just killed 10 million people :D." All of this with a female sensual voice.

  • You forget that Russia owns half the satellites in orbit, but the number of satellites put into orbit by Russia is much larger because sometimes other countries pay them to put satellites out there

  • nice video

  • 4 types

    you forgot

    there are spy satellites

    and military satellites

thath numbers ARE FAKE :D there are mORE

  • Recon are most of the military satellites. The numbers aren't that far off.

Strictly the military green energy research is dual use - it always is and always has been. Beaming power to earth also exactly what you'd like for a space-earth weapon system.

Yes, I used to be a rocket scientist. But not for NASA.

  • He had me at "the 311th person in space". It's a claim that I wish was even a remote possibility for me lol.

  • green energy of pentagon? or massive DEATH RAY OF DOOM? WITH PEW PEW AND THE KABOOM!

  • i wonder if this will eventually effect the space enviornment just like the earth mankind is starting to f**k up the univirse as well

  • "WALL-E"

  • There are no plants or animals out there and there is no atmosphere that could be damaged. There is nearly nothing which the satellites could influence and/or destroy... the universe is very big and the most planets close to us are dead as the moon. so don*t be afraid ;P

  • think (microscopic or chemically) about a lot of human spacial trash impacting a planet: it could kill potential life, or create, or distortionate it. It is VERY important cause is not the natural way.

  • That's what every ignorant know-nothing said everytime the same problem occurred. Too bad to see how disconnected you are from reality. Space junk poses a serious problem to any space travel. Mars already has earthly bacteria on it due to human loss of control over their own tech. Start to think, goddamit!

  • You*re boring... And a bit paranoid. I*m not interested in your opinion - Thanks.

  • Once proven wrong the ignorant coward takes refuge in the alleged subjectivity of the subject.

  • @trakkaton The ignorant pawns hide behind insults and superstitions - You know nothing of interest... stop trolling - I will ignore you from now on.

  • Space Junk, Moon Junk, Everest Junk, Antarctica Junk, Deep Sea Junk, Desert Junk, and lbnl: The great Pacific Garbage Patch (google, some pics, will ya?)!

  • Yes, the pentagon is looking into green energy... right.

More like a super killing beam. Which is awesome, though a bit too James Bond-like for anyone to believe it will ever work.

  • scrap metal transmitters in space, Remember Keep Your Universe Tidy, and i would not like to be under one if one should fall out the sky.lol

  • I hated that these GOOD vids are so short. Im grateful that they can cram great data in those minutes, tho.

  • Congratulations!

  • Spec-i-men: An Italian astronaut

  • clear to know that. Nice video!

  • resourceful...

    :1

  • Informative !

  • good info

  • cool, thanks!

  • feels like watching national geo., so informative

  • nice!!

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!AWESOME!!!!!!!!Wunderbar.

  • Brillante. MIX y TOX

  • Soopa-kewel. And informative and interesting, too!

Now all we need to do is to find a way to put the creators of Disaster Movie in permanent orbit without communication, and we'll have REALLY progressed. ;-P

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!1

  • the solar energy satellite is great, but colonization doesn't sit well with me. look back at all colonies in history. other than that, great!

  • The sooner colonization happens the better. They would be no more wars since recourses would be unlimited. (including land) I think humans should work together instead of wage wars. and Colonize other planets. Instead of waring each other until one day some stronger alien race comes and fucks us all up. (Colonize wouldn't be the same like it is on Earth, they would probably have some kind of machine that terraforms the planet making the air breathable before people can live on a planet.)

  • I love good

  • LOL the USSR was portrayed in red

  • well that was the color of their flag wasn't it?

  • yeah I know, but I somewhat don't think that's the reason.

  • that fact about the pentagon making a solar orbiter was interesting

i think it would be very useful

i also liked the fact that there is research being done about human-space colonization

  • Solar orbiter power beam coming to an oil-rich country near you...

What do you think - that the Pentagon is in the flower-sniffin business?

They are there to murder people.

    How naive can one be?

  • Nice.

  • Very interesting indeed. 5/5

  • great

  • very intresting
