  • were did you get um and how much?

  • As a kid back in the late 60s I ate a lot of these. My neighbors Dad owned a Sporting Goods and he had cases of these in his garage. We took them on Boy Scout camping trips. Your Cs look close to the originals. Without sounding like a jerk ( I'm an old re-enactor ) I want to point out a few things I remembered. The Accessory pack being a bit bigger and a noisy plastic. The Spoon was thick at the base and pointed for use as a knife to spread PB or Cheese. The cans were not a matte OD. Good Job !

  • C rations were actually left over from WW2. That had to be rough eating those nasty things. I hear the ham and eggs was the worst.

  • @Nakor420ish Where do you think the term "green eggs and ham" came from?

  • @astrialkil Not from C Rations. The ham and eggs meal was actually one of the best. The turkey breast meal seemed like that crammed a whole turkey breast in the can, this was the most filling.

  • I'm vietnamese and I'm actully surprised about how much food is in there...

  • @TheM00shimaro why what did you guys have?

  • what are them two packets that you pulled out after the spoon?

  • @marine2553 P38 opener & accessory pack

  • how much was your average price of these things ?

  • strapped on the helmet, is that a mini pack of Marlboro's? I went to a Vietnam museum and saw a pack of Marlboro red cigerattes that only contained four smokes.

  • Yes I make them aswell,7 different types, all 4 cigs per pack.

  • The other video has the accessory bag contents,

which has the cig packet in it

  • @Cambria2007 thats what it is, all the ration packs of the time had 4 cig packets in them

  • @Cambria2007 I remember when I was on a class trip to Manhattan, I saw people handing out small 4 packs of sample marlboro, etc. cigarettes.

  • It was great but no longer available due to postage costs out of australia, its just not worth doing them anymore.

  • aww man, you mean no one can order them anymore? :(

  • So how was it?
