And depending on how the mourner is handling the situation(male or female)they may or may not chose to be at the burial site.There are many different ways ppl mourn and anyone whose lost a loved one knows that during that time a hug cant touch you and a cemetery cud send you over the edge.If you dont understand something and/or are ignorant of s/ones practices that doesnt make something 'not right'. The women of the community are not only mothers, cooks, teachers, we are also the community outreach organizers. both men and women attend funerals, the person filming happens to be a man so he is filming the men's side, as we separate for prayers he would not see any women. So, until you become a Jewish woman, keep you uneducated comments to yourself.

As for why none of the women videoed the burial.... it is possible that someone did, but didnt think to post it to youtube, did that ever occur to you? not every video i have ever taken gets posted to the internet. Also, a large part of our community (both men and women) choose not to use the internet.

When praying, we want our entire focus on our communication with G-d. @lalaland651 One of the mourners was of the Priestly order, being a direct paternal descendant from the Biblical Aaron - Moses' brother. These male descendants are forbidden to come into contact or close proximity with a dead body (such as a hospital with a morgue, animal slaughterhouse etc) and are forbidden to enter a cemetery. However if the person is encompassed within a ring (made of people, or a self-carried box of some sort) then it is permissible. We got some seemingly strange customs :)

@afterray Yes I teach my kids to find a cop too. But cops are hard to find sometimes. So the next best thing in my mind...I'll tell my 7 yr old to look for a woman with kids too. A mother. The women did attend. I was there together with 1000's of other women.. Due to the huge crowd the women were around the corner.. the synagogue spans through both streets, and the family stood together in the synagogue courtyard.
