Beautiful work - but the dialogue is too well scripted to be a HiT episode. Nevertheless, I'm glad it's so.

P.S.: If you really want the HiT sound, try:

"The Fat Controller's railway is a busy and bustling place."

"...keep the railway running and rolling."

"...the Fat Controller came to Tidmouth Sheds." ("arrived at" is too intelligent for HiT)

"Spencer huffed and chuffed in."

"...pushing and pulling coaches"

...etc.

One thing that kind of bugs me about this, and not the unrealism of big engines being on branch lines or Duck's foolishness, is Spencer. Just the way he looks.. is there not another model which does not feature the side-coverings like on this engine? eh.. That's really the only thing that bugs me about this. The rest of it= excellent work :)

You know, for a story meant to seem like a New Series episode, it didn't quite come out like a New Series episode: it came out GOOD. :-P Only two rhymes, the presence of Duck, and a plotline that's not rubbish. Good work, Callum! :-)

What can I say? You reflected the style of a new episode really well and it even had a charm to it. It has the infamous morales Hit's new episodes are known for due to parent action groups but you have managed to make it enjoyable as the morale in this story was original and not an obvious lesson like "saying please" :) Maybe you should write the actual Thomas episodes from now on too :)
