okay, the writing is now superb. Guza was good in his glory days in the early 2000s. But then he lost his edge and became awful. This new writer is wonderful.

I have to say my favorite was Monica walking past Carly with the parting shot of "...wanna compare losses?" Look back at the history of GH Carly hasn't been through even HALF of what Monica has had to endure. I think Sam should've stepped aside and let Monica be the one who got to slap Carly.
The screw job on Jax here is pretty pathetic. Once again, another character sacrificed at the altar of Sonny/Carly/Jason. If this is the "new" GH, I may not watch any further.

GH's episode was a trip today Sam and Carly fighting was good I really like Carly's character but today she deserved to get slapped. Carly you got you're never you are such a hyprocrite you do childish things all the time! Mainly because he's still fixated on getting Jax who he STILL feels went on that airplane with Brenda. He still thinks she left with him. Deep down he still feeling the pain of how Brenda left him. It's ALL about Brenda right now.. I would LIKE to think that's the reason he didn't flinch when he heard about the accident.

To all the people who are saying that Sam's argument makes no sense and that Carly is justified, I think you're glossing over that...
1) As the viewers, we know that Jax has taken Josselyn. However, Carly was unaware of this fact until today (Wed. episode). Question: why didn't Carly go home and check for herself? Why didn't she get her facts straight before going to Jason?
2) What would justify Carly disrespecting Sam's baby as if she never existed?
@ghfan12345 Carly knew if Jax was back, he was back for Joss. Any idiot could figure that out. She knew she wouldn't be able to stop him alone, so she asked her BEST FRIEND for help. As ANY mother would do in her situation. Seems pretty simple to me. Why anyone would think, when time is of the essence, that she should waste time going across town TWICE and giving Jax more time to get away, is beyond me.

I really don't see why fans love Sonny so much. He's a bad guy. Oh, sure, he does things for his family, etc. but Edward was so right when he asked Sonny why he was backing the legal system now, since Carly won custody, when he's always scoffed at it before. As for Carly, she may be Jason's friend, but to rush over there and try to find out what's going on in front of Sam (his fiancee) and Monica (his mother) is just so selfish. Loved Monica when she told Carly what she did.
It's about goddamn time that Sam actually stood up to someone. THIS is what I've been wanting forever. I can finally appreciate the character because she's not a pushover anymore.
Aside from the slap my favorite part of these scenes was the "drive by" Monica did at about 13:00 when she makes the comment about comparing losses, sighs and walks away. Previously she sat there quiet while Sam & Carly went at it and then bam! Perfect!
Thank god, Wolf is showing Sonny and Carly's true colors. I was tired of all Guza's sympathy to them both. Slowly and steadily, they will pay for their crimes.
I usually defend Carly, but the past few weeks, I just can't. For her to tell Sam "I don't expect you to understand. You have no idea what it's like to loose a child" was just so far out of line. I literally gasped when she said it, and it did warrant a nice B#$%^ slap from Sam. Michael isn't following in Sonny's footsteps, and he's not becoming his own person - he is acting like a SPOILED WHINY BRAT.

Also, a few months later, Sam and Jason took in a little baby girl from a teen mom... but the teen and her grandma took her back after about a month. (Dec 2004/Jan 2005)
Way to go Sam! Carly needs to be put in her place and you can do it! I haven't ever really like the character of Sam but recently I have really liked her and glad her and Jason are getting married and now I'm waiting on Lucky and Elizabeth! :)

I find Sam telling Carly that she used Jake’s death to get Jason to go rescue Josslyn really hypocritical. Jason loves Josslyn and wanted to save her from being kidnapped like his son was. Has everyone forgotten what she did to Jake? She watched Jake get kidnapped and did nothing. She also hired 2 guys to terrorize Elizabeth and Jake so that Jason would stay away from her. . She is so jealous of Carly and Elizabeth. She said for Carly to act like an adult yet she goes and hits her.

I love Sam/Jasam and I love Carlys character to. But lets face it, "the slap" it self was deserved. Carly has never acknowledged Sams loss, ever. I agree with Michael's description of a corporate raider and the part about Jax owning diamond mines where kids die or having interest in oil companies who have spills that damage acres and acres of wetlands. And I like Abby's idea of Michael going to law school.

When JAx broke federal laws 2 have Sonny convicted of a murder he did not commit, Jax pulled string to get Dante reinstated on his undercover assignment 2 bring down Sonny NEVER caring that Dante's cover was partially blown and he had no problem telling Olivia what he had done!!
I'm actually surprise that foster care wasn't the judgement...atleast OLTL writers were thinking when they wanted to put Ryder in foster care. I mean clearly if a judge was going to take away one child 4 safety, he would remove all, & if the father then proves to be unfit, u wouldn't just go back to the other choice, u would find another option.
I think Joss should be put in foster care...all of them are idiots when it comes to parenting. The only one with parenting sense is Olivia...note: parenting senses is different from sense....she loss that acknowledgement just for hooking up with Sonny before, & after she came back...not to mention being a cougar with Johnny!

I'm sick of Michael's Sonny impersonation. Abby was right about everything she told him. I didn't like the way he was talking to her and it felt like he bullied/guilted her into wearing that dress. It was like she was the battered wife just "trying to make sure he stayed calm". What should of been a romantic scene just made me feel really uneasy.
Sonny's time on screen is by far the most entertaining portion of this episode. Michael was pretty surprising though, he should act like that more often.
Sam really spoke her mind today. I've never seen her talk about anything so passionately. Her and Carly bring real drama/catfights to the screen. I reply hope something bad happens to Jax.

GH's episode was a trip today Sam and Carly fighting was good I really like Carly's character but today she deserved to get slapped. 1) As the viewers, we know that Jax has taken Josselyn. However, Carly was unaware of this fact until today (Wed. episode). Question: why didn't Carly go home and check for herself? Why didn't she get her facts straight before going to Jason?
2) What would justify Carly disrespecting Sam's baby as if she never existed?

I really don't see why fans love Sonny so much. He's a bad guy. Oh, sure, he does things for his family, etc. but Edward was so right when he asked Sonny why he was backing the legal system now, since Carly won custody, when he's always scoffed at it before. As for Carly, she may be Jason's friend, but to rush over there and try to find out what's going on in front of Sam (his fiancee) and Monica (his mother) is just so selfish. Also, a few months later, Sam and Jason took in a little baby girl from a teen mom... but the teen and her grandma took her back after about a month. (Dec 2004/Jan 2005)

Love Carly!! Love Sam to thought, my two favorite characters!! I am able to choose between them if you look at the "big picture", because Carly has been my fav since I first saw GH(MC Hostage crisis) I didn't like Sam in the beggining, but I changed my mind=) But I wouldn't be able to choose between Jarly's friendship and Jasam as a couple, so I'm staying out of that one lol
Kelly and Laura rocked their scene!! It must be a little fun to them since they get a long really well in real life

Carly only thinks about her self first and always calls on Jason , he just told her the night before that he has to put Sam first and she didn't like it at all and Carly said Jason is an adult he chose me and Sam said no this has nothing to do with him choosing you he left when you brought up his son Jake she was so right !! I'm sick of Michael's Sonny impersonation. Abby was right about everything she told him. I didn't like the way he was talking to her and it felt like he bullied/guilted her into wearing that dress. It was like she was the battered wife just "trying to make sure he stayed calm". What should of been a romantic scene just made me feel really uneasy.

Great show today. The four best highlights were:
1.) The slap heard all round GH.
2.) Sam got much the best of the verbal exchange.
3.) The Charlie's Angel commercial when they showed the beautiful Annie IIonzeh (Maya).
4.) The cool looking dog.
