It's the outcome of the film that I am sure no one liked. I like it but what will happen it's just odd. How can anybody watch or torture another human being then killed them. What the man who employed Raphael told him he is only rationalizing with himself. I still don't agree watching someone dies will prepare or help you get ready for you own death. Raphael death will be murder, his employer will have a normal death.I hope things like this don't happen in real.

While i think this film is beautiful, and meaningful and tear jerking this movie is, i can understand why it was slated so badly, i dont agree with the critics, but i understand them.
1) This movie is NOT easy to watch, it was never meant to be, however. Its supposed to hurt, but most of the world wants a film that you can just pop on and enjoy, this film requires thought
2) Guilt. The desire to turn a blind eye to such things, and pretend the world is not THIS cruel/
People don't hate this film. The film industry and politicians censored it because it reveals THE TRUTH of what resulted from the genocide of millions of natives of both the northern and southern continents of what are now called Canada, USA and S. America. Hoke Hey!
I have never been able to find this movie. Thanx so much for uploading it. Really gorgeous story. Johnny did an excellent job acting and directing this film I have heard negative things about this movie but most of it is done really well. Loved it and was suprised to find out what his "job" was. Sad ending but really showed his love for his family

I am sure you can find the last 2 stories on Youtube. Hoka Hey! Dances w/Wolves and "Never Cry Wolf" are also great stories.

For this being his first movie that he had directed it was really good, sad, and inspirational. How he gave up his life for his family was odd because they would have to live with the sorrow but at the beginning he wasn't thinking about that but only about the future of his kids and wife and how he was able to improve it it's a good movie but extremely sad...... I would watch this movie again :)
I just watched this movie last night and I gotta say it was amazing. much better than I thought it was gonna be and I had high expectations for it. This may sound strange but even though it is a sad movie, I feel that it was a feel good movie. Seeing Raphael bonding with his family left me smiling. Definately one of my favourite movies.

The Brave? I think this movie should be renamed, The Coward. Rafael took the cowards way out. He could have lived and took the challenge of beginning a new life with his family. He chose to sacrifice himself to please evil man's desire. UGH His family will mourn just for material gain. He could of worked out something. There is nothing beautiful about this mess!
