  • Hi :))) loved ur tutorial :D got a question.... what did u use to outline?

  • @MegaBricke thank you :) i used watercolour and a very very thin brush

  • This is so beautiful! Thank you for posting it. It's really helped me. I found your DA, and I'm gonna be your newest watcher! Thanks again!

  • Beautiful. Ive been working with colored pencil so I jist ordered my first set of water colors. I ordered a koi pallett and I also ordered prismacolor brand water color pencils. I absolutely cant wait to mix the mediums. C: Drawing and coloring is so soothing I never realise the time flying by.

  • @StudioVibe i definately find painting and drawing with traditional media more relaxing than digital :)

  • @6:40

actually you add complimentary colors to the actual surface in the shadow which has its origin in traditional art a couple of hundreds of years ago ^^

    just saying :3

  • I love your tutorial!

What did u use to outline??

  • you have an intresting accent. I can't quite place it. I thought it was british but I am not sure? may i ask where you are from?

  • @jualkyn I am a Dutch girl who tries to have a brittish accent but fails horribly at it wich is why i have a weird accent :P

  • @bluemonika Oh how come you try to have a british accent? Why not keep your original accent? heh

  • @jualkyn i do not really like the dutch accent so i try to cover it up. i still need to practise more though but i also think people can understand better what i am saying if i can talk english with a more brittish or just american accent :P but that's just a silly quirk of mine.

  • @bluemonika Oh, if that is the case there are certain classes or tutorials on how to pronounce english a certain way. I think that would help a lot, I know people who have taken those and it helped them tremendously. I am still curious to hear dutch accent though but I have never heard it before. I imagine it will be very similar to german accent?

  • One person couldn't watercolor a steampunk angel.

  • I made a really big mistake while watercolouring and some of the paper came off in the middle of the picture. It took me ages so please tell me how I can save my piece TT-TT

  • @aaazafina best thing to do is to leave it alone because it usualy becomes worse if you keep trying to fix it ^^;

  • @bluemonika ...A little late....its died TT-TT

  • @aaazafina i'm sorry to hear that :( but at least now you know for next time...and don't worry it even happens to me sometimes.

  • Liking this video is the least I can do :O Absolutely amazing!!!! It looked fabulous even without the re-trace on the lineart. I'm ok-ish at watercolors, I got a fancy set from my Aunt and sometimes they like me, sometimes they don't. Anyway, thanks for posting! This was incredible!!!!!

  • @gimmeurcash yup exacly that. the best and fastest way to learn is pick up different techniques and make them your own. i am glad that you enjoyed this ^_^

  • i am just a starter in watercoloring, and your tips are really helping me and helping me get a good idea of how to water color paint my art, i often get frustrated or ansy about it when i first startout painting, thinking "FFFFF I HATE THIS >;U!!" but i really need to learn patience and taking my time, love this tutorial!!!

  • @robosamarai24 you are welcome :) the key with watercolouring is also that you get the right materials...especially paper for watercolouring. after that it is just patience and practise. :)

  • @bluemonika yes! :), i have many types of paper to try, at the time, newsprint paper is what i got, but i have other material papers to try too!, thanks again!.

  • Great! This is the best watercolour lesson I've seen on the net. You've managed to include every necessary detail, but keep it short and sweet as well. Inspires me to go and find my brushes, for sure.

  • @YummyBananaFish I am glad to hear it :) don't be afraid to experiment either :) there is a lot of cool stuff you can do with watercolours.

And damn youre so amazing! Awesome. What paper do you use?

  • @Hokorichama thank you :P lol..I am glad to hear that my accent is not horrible. I keep working at it though XD I just use regular watercolour paper :)

  • @Hokorichama glad you like my accent. I just use regular watercolour paper :)

  • @bluemonika okay. 8D thank you

  • @bluemonika It is very relaxing... Can I just use drawing paper? I find it easiest to use when actually drawing the picture.

  • @zkgubs if you just want to draw you can use normal drawing paper but if you want to paint you need different paper otherwise it won't turn out good.

  • @Hokorichama She might be russian, kinda sounds like it to me.

  • Woaw that's really something!

  • thats so amazing ^_^

i wish i knew how to water color

it looks better nd more fun :3

  • Where did you buy your Millimeter pencil? Can it be purchased at Blick'n Dicks?

When you start inking in the line-art, do you use the same Millimeter pencil, or do you use a spare? ... and what is the brand name of the water colors you use?

  • Your style is so good! I'm glad to have finally found a watercolor tutorial. I hope to see more of your videos in the future!

  • i love your artwork :) how did you get so well (except from practicing, because i already do that on a daily basis)

  • @chocoissablify lol...erm..i cannot really give any other explanation for it than practise ^^; but dedication and concentration are importand too and by looking at other artworks from other artists or things that inspire you.

  • i realllyy lovee thiss <33 I especially love the inking part :X Too bad you skipped part of it :X

and your accent is cute <3 you should do more videos!
