I most def agree with you. Vr need to advise deaf people to go to community college first before they try to enroll Gallaudet U. As i see myself in GU, i seen a lot of freshman left school in the middle of the semester. I don't think it is a great idea and waste VR's money to support them.All i can say that community college is the first step to get a good experience before go to next level.
Hello Rod45life, We Deaf go to school for free with support and eligiblity under the Vocation Rehab. program. It seems we need to work hard to get that support, to justify why we need this degree, our choice of career and so on. I do not think we need to complain the strict of VR in trying to make us justify our Individual Education Plan and needs. They are expensive, yet we don't pay for it. It is well worth the investment and research that we put into it. Part I.
