Grosso could have easily walked over him, and the fact that he admits it shows that a penalty shouldn't have been awarded. Sure, Italy probably would have won in AET or a PS. Who cares? It was a wrong decision nonetheless.
EVERY player would have done that? Really? Italians are notorious for diving, and if you can't accept that then "you clearly don't know anything about this sport".
