I seen a documentary about River Phoenix. They showed him on the set of his last movie. The actress he was working with on set was giving him a hard time. And he admired her so much. I think it really brought him down! They left the camera running at the end of the scene, It showed him just standing there for a few seconds on his own, looking down, in dim light. The producers said looking back on the footage, it was an eerily. haunting scene. Sad, that he left so young!

I am not saying he wanted to die, I meant that he was taking drugs. And it was nothing like Heath Ledger's cause Heath had an accidental death because of the mix of the sleeping pills and anti-depresants he was taking. Such a shame... I remember him for Stand by me and I also like The thing called love a lot and there's a few more I still have to see but there was no doubt about his talent. You must have felt for him what I'm Still feeling for Heath Ledger and will continue to feel, I think with Heath is worse though in a way, He didn't really choose it but it is a shame about both... He made a stupid mistake and unfortunately couldn't live to learn from it...

actuallyyy no...river didnt choose to die. in a biography about him it was said that he didnt want to die but he was under so much stress from the hype of hollywood and he needed a release and thats the same thing that happened to heath ledger too.

I am not saying he wanted to die, I meant that he was taking drugs. And it was nothing like Heath Ledger's cause Heath had an accidental death because of the mix of the sleeping pills and anti-depresants he was taking. Nothing alike to River who chose to drink the stuff that was given to him or whatever, But I did watch the E True Hollywood story and it's true what someone said, In that state that he was on if a "friend" had told u drink this you'll feel amazing anyone could have took it so yeah

As a growing actor, I really look up to River. He was amazing in every single way. He looked like a nice person, he was obviously an animal lover, and he was a great actor. He is the ONLY man I have ever cried over. When I look at a picture of him, I get chills down my spine. Even though River is gone, I still feel him on this earth.
