  • I miss the younger, running and jumping around, Roth.

  • I think that Hagar was the best van halen ever was..

  • Awesome performance!

  • All I can say is Im glad I paid 10 bucks to see them back in 1984 while they kicked ass and not paying over 100 bucks to see shit like this......Im sorry guys but this is horrible....

  • @THudgens81 I'm glad I paid $5 to see them in 1978. Haven't seen them since.

  • @THudgens81 ...that bad huh?

  • Van Halen over Van Hagar any day......

  • i must say eddie is still a awesome guitar player but as a person i wouldnt say that he is half dutch and something else, these people are strange.dave is great party on dave.

  • Big Al rocks out on this one. The guy's an unsung hero of rock.

  • @SpiritKnob Absolutely! Fantastic drummer who was overshadowed by a guy with a mammoth personality and stage presence, and his brother, who is one of the greatest guitarists of all time.

  • yessssssssssss van halemmmmm

  • SpikeMichaels has a Nigga issue.........

  • This is the most controversial discussion thread for such a monumental occurence in the history of rock-n-roll. Yeah, yeah, it's a 'reunion', but no one has yet pointed out the living hell DLR put the band through (which led to their part). This IS monumental; Wolfgang is limited but he's a pubescent - put yourself in his shoes; you could make elevator music from ANY VH song (without vocals) and people would ride elevators just to listen. So fucking what...? VH rocks. <==== period

  • Daves the man, he led them to the top

  • @rvhawkeye surely dave is dave but with sammy they had more success in the billboards but the music on their albums with dave was more fun, wild and heavier.i prefer dave anytime yeaahhh he is rock and roll

  • @lovemaker1972 I recently read just the opposite of what you are saying, the article stated that Van Halen had more commercial success, ie; more albums sold, with Dave. I believe I read this in Rolling Stone but I read so much that I have trouble keeping track of sources at times.

  • GREAT...they seem having a good time and sound great

  • sober eddie is this the greatest guitar player of all time.

  • I like Sammy Haggars voice for Van Halen as so many do, yet for this single, David Lee Roth masters it. Plus hearing Roth with this song is upbeat especially on radio. Gotta pull the car over and listen or I'll end up running a red light. lol. Don't wanna do that. What was the cause for running the light sir. Oh..... Van Halens' Hot For Teacher....

  • i would like to be eddies son :D

  • david sucks, sammy kicks his ass vocally any daY

  • @jedsebastian Your right

  • This is the shit man! Release the album now please!

  • @GreenNamedDude DLR is shit

  • @craigslistbusiness except DLR is a badass and has character, and becuase of that his voice doesnt need to be exceptional. It is fact that they wrote better music with DLR and also fact that Sammy voice is "better" i suppose skill wise; except what Hagar was singing about made him a giant vag so ultimately DLR is more of a boss

  • @Specialmeeeetch One can argue Ed plays harder, faster, better (meaning more technical) when Dave is in the band. Due to Dave's style as apposed to Sammy where Ed seems to be more laid back. That be the case gimmie Roth!

  • @jamminjohn DOWN WITH VAN HAGAR

  • love the iron maiden type finish!

  • Van Halen kicks ass !!! keep on rockin' Eddie !

  • wow look a little dave biig ass sideburns

  • @FEVER55555 all he needs is to dye his hair black, and wear some sunglasses, and he'd pass for Elvis

  • So nice to see Eddie clean and playing his ass off again.

  • Good live performance, i'ld like them to look more like rockers though; those short haircuts are suited for nine to fivers.

  • The teacher needs to see you after school, and that is not next year Dave...

  • If people are into Chickenshit that is fine. Nobody compares to Ed an Al. Good to see Dave back where he belongs, and Wolf did a fine job on the tour, despite what all the haters say.

  • not really big on Wolf and Dave, buy my lord can the Van Halen brothers still play!!! I had heard for years that Eddie was done, but it's obvious that critic was wrong.

  • This was a pretty tight performance musically I must say

  • right about 2:50 is when you appreciate Alex and Eddies awesomeness and love for being brothers

  • i havent heard that scream in years

  • BadASS !!!!!!

  • I have seen Van Halen 9 times in concert, they are amazing live. However, I heard an interview with Micheal Anthony and according to what he said, he learned out about this tour like everyone else did and wasnt even asked to play. I think if this is true, it's said. I mean I understand it must be cool to play with your son. But I would have loved to seen the original line up. Long live Chickenfoot!

  • ...I saw VH in1977 at Manly Field House, Syracuse University. They opened for Journey.... but after VH played, Journey got booed off the stage. !! I was 13, and in the 3rd row ! :)

  • Nice way to sell yourself out Eddie. Putting your name on everything you fucking touch.

  • @RedPaperTowels

It's almost as bad as the overweight tequila salesman who puts fucking Cabo Wabo & Red Rocker on everything!!

  • I didn't know Dave could still make that sound (3:30)

  • My God. Dave looks GREAT!

  • IS THE KID FROM THE MOVIE UP ON BASS????

  • @niceboy598 Eddie's son, Wolfgang, plays bass, yes..

  • This is very nice and all....BUT....I gotta have more cowbell!

  • Dave is such a Showman. He really is show biz, in an old fashioned way that is almost dead. Like a circus conductor, or Vaudeville act. He makes stages look tiny. Despite his showmanship, he draws attention to the others in the band. I had really missed that dynamic when he left. I even refused to listen to Van Hagar. If they can forgive, perhaps I should too.

  • Ca va faire une semaine qu'a chaque fois que je cherche une vidéo live bien précise je tombe sur les vôtres les gars...la chaine a bien marché, félicitations!

    Jagged Fel

  • All they need is the hair back and I wouldnt be able to tell the difference.

  • Van halen was my first concert. it was in 2007 in fresno. fucking epic, thats all i have to say.

  • with his ages, but alex can do that double bass, and eddie that solos

  • ha! I was there I had a really fun time especially when eddie did eruption and this when lee roth was being funny during some of the songs :

  • where is the original bass player Michael Antony, i don't like Wolfie Van Halen, he is nothing and nobody...

  • @Uldebass he's with sammy hagar in chickenfoot

  • @Uldebass Yet you are watching him on utube, who the fuck are you? Wolf is legit nasty, if you dont see that you are blind or probably just jealous like the majority of haters.....Mikey who>?

  • @blasty5150 i remember the original bass player... i don't like when someone give job to his son, this is nepotism like in Italy, where i live. that's all

  • @Uldebass He's having fun in Chickenfoot and Ed's having fun, playing in a band with his son. He's not coming back, so deal with it

  • this was song 1 of the night. dave came out and said "wer'e back, i hoped you missed us."

  • Sammy Who?

  • diamond daves still good but he just needs his high piched skweal and his timing back

  • i wanna hear more bass!

  • classic dave scream near the end there.

  • um dime and vinnie......

  • @lambofjason27 hahah uhh yea and willie and chris...you know wats up

  • alex and eddie are two of the most talented brothers.

  • that bassist looks aout 18 lol is he??

  • @teezer123 Yup, that's Wolfgang Van Halen, Eddie's son. He's around 18 or 19 now.

  • Dave really preserves the colorfullness in Van Halen, even theyr all in their mid 50s apart from Wolfgang

  • Back in the 70's I played in bar bands in Denver, Colorado. I saw a band from L.A. that everyone was nuts about. They played one of the clubs I played in and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. They didn't play Denver to often but, when they did the bar was packed. The band was called Mamouth. This was Van h. before they made it big. Man were they HOT in a bar setting.

  • Very cool story, thanks ! You're a lucky man, seeing them at this time.

  • @VHFrance "Cool story"... that nigga is full of shit!

  • nice man

  • wow, that must have been a great experience for you. But are you sure that it was the real Mamouth, you see, there where 2 bands in the same town with that name, and when van halen found out of it, david lee roth came up with a new name, Van Halen, inspired by Santana.

  • how old are you know!?

  • @michaeljay66 They were the "best" in any setting. They were all that mattered in the 70's and 80's.

  • @michaeljay66 NIgga, you full of shit. You didn't see MAMMOTH in a fucking bar in Denver before they were VH. When was this, 72-73? Mammoth was touring in '73 and playing club gigs in Denver, CO. ? Fuck that shit you talkin, nigga. WTF kinda shit is that, you're confused about a few things. Fuck you, fucking asshole.

  • @SpikeMichaels man..calm down..he said 70's not 70..

  • @SpikeMichaels BAHAHAHA what a dickhead you are, internet tough guy!! 'nigga' you racist sack of shit! i hope your dad raped you when you were little!! (i'm white BTW but still, that shit ain't right!!!)

  • @michaeljay66 Cool story, bro.

  • Damn Dave is in good shape voice and his build.

  • this is just mindblowing

  • God Wolfgang couldn't look MORE interested in playing this music that he had nothing to do with writting.

    [sarcasm]

  • I Saw this show in Baltimore LOVED IT!!
