Yes, I told that to Luke when I talked to him at a Ring of Honor Show a year ago. I remembered the barbwire matches that the New Zealand Sheepherders had with the Rock n' Roll Express and the Fantstics in Mid-South Wrestling.
And then the great Vincent K. McMahon decided that the feared Kiwi Sheepherders would work much better as a pair of comical morons renamed "the Bushwackers". God, I hate Vince McMahon.
This actually the NWA. This was the joint CWF-JCP undercard of the War Games in Miami at the Orange Bowl. You're not the first to mistake the NWA logo for the NWA.
