@Zontertes ive been looking, i only have the original recorded version with mara singing (hot), and the two vids, one with aimee singing and this one. these fkrs are awesome, simple approach gives way to true rocket science.
@johannana123 it was a bonus performance on the DIG! movie. I think it was at a fair in California but i cant remember for sure. I think they tell you on the movie though, its in the bonus features.
i thought they were some sort of post-brit pop band since they have such a british take on psychedelia and on the cover of one album they have a british flag and on their albums they only quote british bands with the exception of the velvet underground. and they dress like me...
The cool thing about the BJM is that if I saw any other band in get-ups like those I would say 'give me a break' but they seem to pull it off like a genuine psychedelic from the 60's, but better.
The cool thing about the BJM is that if I saw any other band in get-ups like those I would say 'give me a break' but they seem to pull it off like a genuine psychedelic from the 60's, but better.
Dont know anything about your band but you dicks have a good way of messing up my search results...that was probably your point. Good luck with it anyway.
I saw the Dig! Portland premiere at Cinema 21. Matt Hollywood and the whole Dandy's crew were in the balcony hooting and hollering. It was a great experience!
Wow. Never listened to them before & I have to say this is great! Love the guitar sound, and something that's really important to me too is the bass & drums, solid but not hitting you over the head as they do in a lot of mixes post-1980. Wish I could have been at that show. Where & when was this?
@KohlKorruption hhahhahaha u the man. Hey would u mid checking out some of my music. u might actually like it? i need more views so i can feel good about myself
Right on, Anton. The lyrics in this song are powerful.. they define a lot of relationships, be it with a lover or between parent-child and so on. We are here to to pick each other up, not drag them down. Reminders like this song are as good as it gets.
@antonfjordson anton, how does it feel when matt and joel get more cheers than you do on stage? personally it pissed me off a bit (in SF) because you wrote almost all the damn songs. i was shocked to be the only one yelling your name when you came on, although you were on the side and sort of snuck on, so yeah. either way you broke my fucking heart that night. there is nothing we all wanted more than for you guys to keep playing all night. you're one of the realest..
Anton is a great guy ! dandey he is always 1 step ahead ! i like his older stuff . His stuff now is pretty good . times are changing...i like this style --but we all musicians need to change our style some time ..anton i miss u bro
I would love to have been at this jam.. I really like the line-up and Anton sounds fantastic. Pretty excited about the upcoming tour, though! It's some amazing material.
One of my favorite bands, or should I say, Anton. He puts out my type of music. I hate rap, medal, all that screaming, jumping up, gargling like your trying to cough up razor blades, THAT' S SINGING, IT"S CRAP. This is creative music, that you can get into emotionally, and listen to over and over. Feel sad for Anton though. I think he is really on a self-destructive coarse.

I really don't get it. Live music should make you want to dance or go crazy or drink or DO SOMETHING!!! This band has as much energy as the department of motor vehicles
I knew I was right all along. you don't have to tell me. Basically what I meant was that these people paid to stand motionless in a room and feel music that is played identical to the record. The only thing the musicians are feeling is not wanting to play live or a complete lack of skill.
You don't understand what performance means, you have never had oneness, and you're missing out..... its like saying "we did sex " rather than "we made love"......don't worry when you get it ,you'll get it.
Excuse me, but do you realize you are watching "Anemone" uhhh its not one of their "high energy" songs. There are about 20 videos on here of them playing live and people dancing to them. What were you expecting the band to do? A choreographed dance routine?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
More? I don't think I've listened to any. I'm commenting on here because I hear every now and again "Anton is a genius" he is not, this is a mediocre band that plays mediocre songs at best. They aren't "bad" but they will never be "genius"
The dude may not be as hyped as everyone says he is, but he can play almost every known instrament, and his music has a feeling to it that barely any other music can do. You just dont feel it. YOu have to listen to this stuff right. What do you call good music?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
he can play a lot of instruments yes is he incredible at any of them? no. being able to do a lot of things marginally isn't a good way to garner respect as an artist. What I would consider good music are people that have improvisational skill as well as unparalleled talent. like Frank Zappa, or Yes or The String Cheese Incident or even Steely Dan.
Yeah but the music he makes with all the instraments he can play is great, at least i and thousands of others think. Frank Zappa and Yes play GREAT music, but.... it is so complicated that it drives some people away. Same reason a lot of people dont like Led Zeppelin. Plus, like i said before BJM has a thing to there music that i cant find in any other music.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
BJM just sounds too normal and conservative for me to get them. They aren't really pushing any boundaries or doing anything that's really original and in that sense they are dumbing down music
i don't know why people are down thumbing this perceptive motherfucker. thats exactly what i thought when i heard them the first time and i like shit like this. that stones spirit and bravado aint no where to be seen here..
haha, fashioncorpse is my friend Sam. Don't worry about him, he is a music elitist and enjoys mostly jam bands.
