How in the hell does this song have less than 200k views, and shit like Pokerface has millions of views?

How much emotional depth and relativity does Pokerface have compared to songs like "Home"? How is it that songs expressing fear, hopelessness, loss, love, endurance, raw, deep power are passed over in favor of songs that promote shamelessly using others for personal gain?

And a more terrifying thought- what does that say about American society if that's the kind of music we glorify?

We look to console ourselves with songs about how great life is as opposed to what millions of people are going through every day.
