Why do the Nations - Handel, Thomas Colwell

Tom is a bass Baritone. He was my tutor for over 2 years. I sung with him in this concert, was an absolute pleasure and he is a very down to earth gentleman. I would recommend searching for his wife as well, who is also an amazing soprano, Rhona Colwell. I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Together their duets make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up!

I agree on two points. First the piano is too loud. Second, Thomas is not a bass. However, this is done very well, and he has a beautiful voice.

I'd say this talented young singer is a baritone, not bass or bass-baritone. Having said that, however, he sings this very difficult aria beautifully and with elan:). Would very much like to hear his "The Trumpet Shall Sound" as well --
