However, when it was played back for television, the vocals were cut and replaced with the Music Video version. This probably stemmed from the fact that the word 'fuck' was used, but then you have to wonder why they didn't just keep the performance and just BeeP the word.

This is obviously without a doubt lipped but. The fact that she was able to produce those vocals in the first place is beyond me. Her throat must have been in agonizing pain after she recorded this song. The crowd was really into it but she looked a little bummed about having to lipsync throughout the whole performance. She has probably never performed this song live without lipsyncing because her vocals would not have sounded nearly as good as the album cut.

thing is, I am pretty sure it's lipsynced. Due to it sounding exactly the same as the song and no improv. Top of the Pops has people lip sync their songs. So that's a downside, but at least it's a different version of the song, which I really like
