Suprastick Transmission controller? wtf is that? I am debating on wither doing a 1JZ or 2jz swap on my IS300, and it will have to be with an automatic tranny cuz converting to manual is gonna cost alot on top of the swap itself. And being able to use the E-SHIFT in the is300 would be a great plus!

@DirtridinElCamino Oh thats cute you actually believe you know more about my own car lol....jokes aside, the only part from the IS's 2j thats similar to the supra is the long block. The MOST important part thats missing is the short block (stronger internals!). An is300 has weaker internals than the supras motor which is why people have to build the short block to hold boost the right way, or just swap the real deal in. Trust me the IS was never meant to go fast u gotta force it to be.

This car is pure porn. Thanks to your inspiration, I am now doing a suprastick conversion on my JDM Toyota Soarer, using a Lexus IS200 steering wheel with paddles. Someone in Aus is also modifying the auto's valvebody to effectively become a stage 1.5 shift kit - can't wait to see how it all works together. Clean car man, one of the nicest SCs I have ever laid eyes on (saw it on clublexus also)

The 3 gauge pod was custom make from fiberglass by a local stereo shop .

The touch screen is a custom computer I built. you can see it in detail on car domain in the SC section. or see it in action on one of my other videos.

That is correct, however it can be switched off as I had it. so if you do forget, you will just bounce off the rev limiter and no gears will change

Hey, the Transmission is controlled thru the "suprastick" controller you can do a search online . The wires for the shifting were wired to the IS300 steering wheel. You must get the one with shift tronic which has the up /dwn buttons.

BTW the transmission was built by IPT in jersey.

That is not a headunit as you can see in my other video, its a computer. The Silver trim around the radio/Climate control is the stock part painted to match the outside car color.

the IS300 steering wheel has upshift buttons on the front of the wheel and downshift facing the driver. I do not have a write up at this time. Google Suprastick and it should lead you to the site of the unit used
