It isn't the movie, BUT the creature it has become cannot be denied. You cannot ignore what the audience is doing, nor would you want to. Plus, it was extremely fun to play back(not too much). I'm sure there were a few times a stray, awkward audience call-back was annoying, but all in all, it's rewarding to have the right crowd that connected to what you are doing on stage.
I live in Norman, Ok. I went to see RHPS on halloween night (2007) and I swear NOBODY but me knew ap lines. (i lived near chicago and saw it every friday night before I moved here) anyway, everybody got pissed at me and told me to shut up... lol... virgins! Anyway, got to get on an assignment, but I'm coming back to look at all of your videos, I'm interested in seeing the whole thing. BTW, you make such a GREAT frank. Couldn't have done better.....
Thanks so much!! haha There used to be a lot of midnight shows here around OKC, but not for years before we did this first in '01. (I played Riff Raff then) So, when we had our opening night, we gave a little speech before the show telling the audience it was ok and gave them partici....pation bags. I loved interacting with the crowd!!
Wasn't this asshole/slut thing off-putting when you're performing? I've always felt like this stuff should be left for the movie screenings.
