This is true to a degree. Though, it's not fair to assume that every advancement goes into something like a robot ass-scratcher. Even if a technology IS devised to serve a function that makes people lazier, that doesn't mean that it won't have other applications that allow us to accomplish tasks not previously possible. For example, this thing seems far more suited to probing the surface of a distant planet then fetching you a beer from the kitchen.
They should join those selfrepairing blocks with this radio-controlled thing and then it might be good, it might be able to lock up the wheels and slinky over those rocks and stuff
Un orgullo trabajar con Ud. profesor, saludos!

Yeah, those damn lazy bastards, not wanting to disarm bombs, clear minefields, or explore collapsed mineshafts themselves!

The fixed axels allow it to become high centered to easily, but still very nice traction and H20 resistance.

Cowboy Bebop! This should be that little robot that Optimus Prime has. If you remember the 1984 cartoon.

Wow. It almost got stuck in that ditch, though. But nice engineering. Bit hard to see where you're going with the attached camera.
Wheels will always be better than legs, this proves it.

It seems that the robot is entirely driven through the interal video (check out the other video)...
