  • This was adapted from a 1964-'65 Broadway play by Bill Manhoff, which originally featured Alan Alda and Diana Sands. MAD magazine created a great parody of the film, touching on Streisand's ego and the foul-mouthed language she used in the movie. Probably Barbra's best comedic screen role to date...

  • I had no idea this was a story for kids but this looks like a he'll of a good movie

  • To me, this is Barbra Streisand's best film and she deserved an Oscar. Everything about it worked; the screenplay, the writing, the dialogue, the cinematography, the soundtrack; FLAWLESS.
