When this song came out (around 1992) I was in the Air Force and stationed at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque. I married my girlfriend from high school when I was stationed there. My wife left me shortly after we married. I was a cop and spent a lot of time on patrol listening to the radio. They played this song all the time and it still brings me back to when my wife left. I wish there was a part II to the song that goes somethings like "Mama, I so glad she's gone..."

My dads viewing after his passing was at a church, I left the church and had a car problem I thought right away ask dad he was such a wiz at fixing cars and so many other things that I remembered his greatness and not that he was gone. Like so many times before i was or at least thought i was going to dad for help. I Love You Pop Love your son Anthony.
@MrTbtonyblue I had several of those moment after I lost my dad on 8/7/06! I'm grateful for his friendship and guidance over the years. I can hear his voice offering guidance whenever I need his advice or his laugh when I see stuff that we both though were funny. Great memories pop. .
