  • I have a reaaly good idea for you to try but how do i get it to you

  • This lens really works! Thanks!

  • tits!

  • If you use steel plate as a stove top it will absorb the heat and spread it out better acting just like a stove eye. Making for better heat transfer when cooking and easier focal point adjustments.

  • It never pops right.

  • I made some on the stovetop the other day on too high of a heat and it didnt cook but 30% of it and it was burnt too.. Enjoy your videos

  • lol i wanna put my face between her boobs and make fake fart sounds.....

  • you guys are so funny. Lots of fun

  • she's sexy as hell

  • You guys must be having a blast cooking everything in sight with these lenses.

  • DAMN SHES HOT!

  • Every video has her with a tight top showin those tits off. Let's see some ass!

  • stupid

  • We have popped corn in a cast iron dutch oven on a fire...maybe you could do the same with this unit....more directly like when cooking eggs.....Just a thought...

  • You should change you name to mr & mrs fresnel

  • hi : ) because the sun>fresnel energy varies so much and is hard to tell how hot the spot is: Maybe a temperature reading on the bottom of the pan would help and you could alter the distance depending on the read out? I wonder if it would be possible to calculate in this way, as the spot size varies too? :/

  • she is hot

  • note to self use microwaves way faster and less deadlier

  • If i had a HOT wife i wouldn't be playing with fresnel lens...... LOL

  • You would if it got her heated up!!

  • she's got some nice solar cells... hehehe

  • You guys just need a flat panel already setup to absorb the heat and then you can just set stuff onto that. I mean imo :P

  • You guys are great. I've enjoyed all the video's.

  • I think you need a method of convection like you suggested with the cast iron pan.

Use a thick steel plate in the sunlight's beam and put the popcorn on that. Less direct extreme heat, and spread out more on the popcorn.

  • LMAO...Do ya really need a lens that huge?I think a smaller one might work just as well.

  • a smaller lens redirects less light, thus reducing the strength of your total focussed light.

  • where's the fun in that?

  • Don't forget to put your face over it while opening and breathe in deeply to get that fresh popcorn smell.

  • yum! I WANT TO EAT THAT

    POPCORN.

  • How many times you have burn a pop corn before you can eat one?

  • Great stuff,,, you guys belong together.... thanks for all your vids...

  • I really like how she is constantly telling him what to do. I thought he was the experimentor genius behind all this. I see who wears the pants in that house.

  • you shood watch to learn something ,and watch your on house ;) hehehe

but no bad intesion there,or here :)

in my house is the same :)

  • I think the hot set up for popcorn would be a cast iron skillet with a glass lid. Put your popcorn and oil in the skillet and let the light from the lens shine through the clear lid. No mirror needed. Just a thought. Great vids. Love your stuff.

  • Dan, The old Jiffy Pop Popcorn needed to be shuffled back and forth to get it popped so it would burn. You might want to try shaking while solarizing it. If it works better, then post that video. I like your videos. Keep up the good work.

  • Does the chick have a bikini spread online somewheres

  • Grow up man!

  • man if only i could aford one

  • you need to shake the pan, otherwise it will burn even on a stove. Shaking will help avoid burning of contents and burning holes... I'd love to see a re-try! Thanks!

  • try putting it in a black skillet to distribute the heat.

  • is that plastic or glass??... i think i have one but im not to sure.... i got it of a big screen tv... its made out of plastic.. is that what your using???

  • this is indeed a green source of energy but on the practical side, how expensive is this fresnel lense compared to home made aluminum foil parabolic cooker.

  • you could easily make an aluminum plate stand to spread the heat and cook with it. This is one of your better ideas and would make for an interesting solar cooker, perhaps a smaller more adjustable unit that was on a turntable to track the sun?

  • Nice Joules;-)

  • Instantly. So you can place your hand in there so long as it is not near the optimal focus?

  • That stick burned instant.

  • ITALIAN FOOD Yummy! I cant wait. Amazing how the focal length just bounces perfect.

  • Very nice.

  • So where do you get a Fresnel lens?

  • How does this compare to parabolic cooking?

  • Unless you have a true parabolic mirror vs. a parabolic reflector, this is MUCH more powerful. Reflectors only give back 60 to 70%.

  • P.S. GREAT Screen Name PlanetGreen1

  • nice vid

  • why not put a piece of metal suspended over the mirror? this would create a more evenly heated surface, to cook on, i would think. good vids, keep them coming!

  • I agree.... like an iron plate (upside down iron skillet) maybe. Put some legs on it maybe. Neato though. Kudos on the demonstrations. Your show is definitely one of the better ones on YouTube.

  • Thank you for the nice comments. I will incorporate your ideas in the next cooking video.

  • That pan seems thin.
