Don't be adverse to AMD over a Turion, it's AMD's Celeron. It was never meant to be a contender, it was meant to be cheap and run at low voltage. AMD makes great products and they are 50% cheaper than Intel's for a loss of only about 5% performance, they typically run cooler too. Price doesn't equal performance, Intel's prices are high because they have a bloated monopoly, not because they have any significant advantage.

Considering USB has some CPU Overhead, and the Atom is pretty weak to begin with, this runs pretty good.

@MastaSquidge That price is for the PC itself. Aluminum chassis, no cheap plastic. Top of the line LED LCD with awesome colors, brightness and contrast and 1080p+ reso, wireless mouse and keyboard included - no huge PC with all the cables attached to it - only the imac itself and the powercord, built in speakers and a OS with no virus protection needed, WoW video recording function built in and so on. Quad CPU and ATI GPU. Vsync off = 150-200fps (waste of fps) and ON (better) = 60fps stable.

What you talkin about. What have you installed on it. I have a dell mini 10V with the same specs but i got a 1.66 ghz processor, 1 gig of ram and the same hard drive. WoW runs AMAZING on my Mini 10V. Even IN CITIES. TO ALL YOU PEOPLE, IF YOU ARE RUNNING THIS ON A NETBOOK, HERES A TIP, IN LAGGY AREAS ZOOM OUT AND LOOK AT THE GROUND. So the game doesn't have to process the background and your current surroundings at the same time.

I agree with nick298310 Whenever you go into laggy areas point your camera at the ground and zoom out as much possible..It helps aton.

Yes Intel make the best processor now but in the past (and still now) Pentium 4 and D series were horrid when compared to the AMD 64 and X2 range. If you wanna go cheap AMD are the best if you wanna shell out Intel are the best.

I am looking to get a laptop soon to mainly play wow on and school work. My sony vaio desktop seems to randomly freeze when playing the wow trial. I was just testing my computer before actually buying the game. So if you have any suggestions on a cheap laptop to play wow on i would much appreciate it.

No I didn't use GMABooster, but I was planning on doing that in a later clip.

My stock internal SSD is only 4GBs.
