I was gutted when I first found out about this bootleg (I had for years believed Live at Wembley to have been un-overdubbed); but then you listen to what Freddie was actually able to achieve on the day - not to mention the near-record vocal performances on some of the other Magic tour gigs - and I have even more respect for him as a vocalist.
Yea! Despite Freddie being in rough shape here, he still manages to sing effectively! I'd rather listen to Freddie on a rough day (without autotune), than artists who "cheat" live.
@rhcp6131 You're on the good video to have an answer, check D5 on the drum at 4:44 from Freddie! Not convinced? The next note at 4:46 is a B4 clearly listenable! There is a Bb5 in falsetto during the impromptu, and Bb2 in Love Of My Life and Is This The World We Created for the low register : 3 octaves with a bad condition, he's so so powerful in this era/tour...
It's funny in the official release they overdub 'convinced' in 'convinced out voices' to a B4 which is odd considering on the recording it is an A4....
identical to the dvd! only a fiew volume set up on multitracs

They also added chorus overdubs!

Sounds like Roger was overdubbed too. The first "oh no" at 1:39 isn't there!

Damn, that's another finding! I guess Roger either didn't sing it, or his mic goofed!

@Gregsynthbootlegs Too right. Most of the 'artists' out there today couldn't even hold a candle to Freddie on his *worst* day!
Thanks for posting all these things btw - I love your channel!

Does he hit anything above a Bb4 on this gig?

He gets B4s in Another One Bites The Dust!
