Yeah, because One Republic used Timbaland to get famous by going on his latest album, Shock Value. Therefore, he should have all rights to put his name first because he is making their song popular. It was Timbaland. It was on shock value and the fact that he put his name on it along with his special percussion made it get popular. The creation of the song itself I would say was One Republic's doing. They even mentioned it on some show on VH1. Thank you very much for making me feel smarter than you. Go Gators!!! They are just different chord inversions. He doesn't use barre chords as much because he prefers the sound of the open chord inversions. He also like a lot of open tunings.
