Delightful - one can see why Brahms so admired Strauss. I didn't know there was a vocal version of 'Frühlingsstimmen' - is it by Strauss?? In any case, Kathleen Battle sounds like the ideal 'songbird' for the part!

@paulprocopolis Yes, Strauss originally composed the waltz for orchestra and solo voice accompaniment :)
