My take on this movie is about Faith or lack of faith. I do believe there is one GOD. From the beginning of time the Jews have been persecuted and their faith has been tested.

Why is God on trial? Deception acts like mental kryptonite. People argue democrat/republican liberal/conservative and avoid the real issue of corruption. The pigs on animal farm weren't capitalist pigs they were corrupt pigs. The Master of Deception, consistently avoids accountability, even in movies. What if this movie revealed the Satanic Secret Societies and Illumanati involvement with financing Hitler's war machine along with Vatican's blessing. God's fault when humanity avoids the truth?

Well written film. A good 12 Angry Men vibe. As for the "debate" I don't believe in god anyways so the whole thing is rather a pointless discussion. The only god that exists is the written word of their books. The fantasy of the god they worship should be put on trial if will help them realize the he is either A) Evil (assuming you believe he exists), B) Not fit for worship, or C) doesn't exist. This god is a drunken husband that beats his family.

I was a Christian my whole life, blindly and dogmatically accepting the Bible until I saw this movie. This movie made me question my faith, and my trust in an "all loving" God. If it weren't for this movie, I wouldn't be the person I am today, this is a movie that honestly changed my life.

People are evil. The question shouldnt be how can a God exist and allow this....rather its just accepting the fact that evil exists and that throughout history, it has spread havoc upon the world. you are answering the wrong question there pirates, for my grandparents and the others in the camps, the germas had designed that place specifically to remove all humanity from them, to make them into animals. God, whether he exists or not, is both the reason the nazi's failed at this task, and the reason the jews that left the camp left as jews. so a practical god most definately existed for the people encamped.

Imagine being in their position when their Temple leaders mostly improperly advised loyal Jews against Jesus Christ as the Messiah. Moses had already warned eventually the Jewish People were going to fail the covenant and when they did God had already informed He would send a Messiah. He did and the death of His Son ratified the New Covenant with all men ratified when the Lamb of God was crucified on all mens behalf. Jewish people had a Covenant and poor advice from leadership.
