I saw them when they visited Chicago back in the late 90's and performed at St. Wenceslaus church. Still one of the greatest choirs around.

I do so adore this setting of the lyrics. That said, this particular recording leaves much to be desired. This is no fault of the performers, but rather that of the recording techs.

@kiki33451 Er...well, yes it is a dance you know, and a rather joyous one at that being about some  romantic and erotic kind of holy thing, so everyone is quite excited and the rhythm suits...in my humble opinion.

This music is simply great! However, I think both the organist and choir could do a little more work on the syncopation. It also needs just a little speed (drags somewhat) and the last stanza needs more from the organ. Keep singing.
