@polarpintarabians - you're very lucky to have one of his sons - pity he's such a long way from Tasmania - would love to view him. I once owned a grandson of the Australian bred International grand champion Ralvon Pilgrim. I consider Piaff to be far superior in many ways - absolute perfection. Maybe you could put your stallion up on Youtube too?

Piaff has real substance - thank goodness the judges have moved away from the extreme table top/snake neck look. This horse is totally about spirit and grace and incredible freedom of movement which his perfect conformation provides. I am 63 years old and in my life I have never seen a more beautiful creature - I hope he is passing on his wonderful characteristics to his progeny.

Arabians are beautiful horses and have a lot of personality! I didnt like them until i got an Egyptian Arab myself and hes amazing and a very quick learner. I dont know what i would do with out him:)
Most Arabian stallions at that level of competition are much more headstrong. But not this fellow!!!! What a wonderful horse. So beautiful with an amazing temperment!
@Timsah88 wtf are you smoking? ability sensitivity? ur an idiot i ride an arab all the time? and he comes running when he sees our jeep pull in the drive way so go suck it
@CaseyHorses I doubt a person with your "communications skills" knows how to ride an Arabian horse, and I doubt that your horse is Arabian in the 1st place, I think you are referring to your dog. lol
@Timsah88 well clearly your an idiot cause 1 his not my horse i just ride him because the lady's husband shot himself and the poor horse is afraid of alot of people but not me cause i've know the horse for years.. so dont tell me i cant ride an arabian... (oh fyi my horse is a canadian/QH)
@CaseyHorses Clearly, you are not polite and require a lot of work in your attitude, maybe your like your "Arabian Horse". Any way enjoy yourself when you ride, and go find somebody else on youtube to harass.
beautiful horse! it's so nice to see that there are people out there that still breed perfectly conformed arabians...not like those things they show in halter shows that look like arabians crossed with giraffes, having extremely long, skinny necks and poor backsides....thank you Poland for preserving the breed!!!
I see what you mean. For example, Arabic horses in Bosnia are from Tunisia, crossed with Arabs from Europe such as Poland and Austria. The first lot they brought over from Tunisia did not survive the harsh Bosnian climate so they had to breed them with the once already accustomed.
polish horses are not the only type of arabian like that if you want a well mannered, calm, tall, well built, and has amazing movement arabian look at crabbet bloodlines
Well, not necessarily. Anglo-Arabs are actually Arabs crossed with Thoroughbreds, and Arabians did originate in the general vicinity of Arabia, but now come from all over the world, i.e. Poland, Spain, America, etc.
Because in the late 1800's and early 1900's there was an increase in European interest in exported horses. The Arabian horse in Europe can trace it's roots to about 5 people from different countries who imported many mares and stallions from the middle east. They are not true "Asil" Arabs, yet are a regional variety of Arabian. Each Arabian sub-breed has it's own unique characteristics and types. A Polish Arab will look much different from a true Asil Arab.
Yes, indeed, there are many strains. Lady Wentworth was one of those breeders with her Crabbet stud in England. I was being a wee bit sarcastic in my remark to a previous post which stated that Arabs are from Arabia only.
Well actually a short little guy called Napoleon introduced the arabians horse to Poland quite a few years before then. You may or may not have heard of him.
@fluffythekillerbird I had to go through several pages of comments because I could not remember what was written two years ago. Napoleon may have brought some Arabians to Poland. I wouldn't know, because I am no expert on the Polish Arabian, or on Napoleonic history. Kudos to you for bringing it up, I'll have to read a few more biographies on Napoleon. The one I read must have left out his introduction of the Arabian horse to Poland.

@adoerfler did you also know that arabs are in the roots of almost any horse . they were founding horses.. there is accually arab in the QH and the French Canadian breeds,, :) lol my horse is a QH/FC so yeah :D
