This game has lots of realism on the Simulation,but the damage can be funny as hell...for gods sake just a few rounds on a big heavy lift helicopter and it just dlows up??lol

A)Fucking shit up?

or

B)Fucking fuelly shit up?

Because it seems logical that firing a 30 mil at anything is going to make it explode.

Either way, i feel sorry for the farmer who's gonna have to clean up that mess...

DONT THROW YOUR AMMO INTO RUBBISH BIN you dont need long burst and high firerate to kill a men, save your ammo and turn low firerate and fire 1 - 3 he rounds per men.

Probably should have used the short burst mode and the low firing rate settings. That might have conserved some more ammo.

I have a question about the mission editor, maybe you can help me out here. Is there any to make it so you start on the ground with the aircraft cold and dark? There's got to be, I just can't figure it out.

When you place your aircraft icon on the map in the editor make sure that you select "Take off from parking" in the "Type" dropbox under Route tab.

in most missions soldiers are on the move, but this is just my custom training mission

I thought the AI was supposed to be more intelligent in the sim.. Like throwing smoke grenades and perhaps even running instead of standing there like "hey look at that perty helicopter out yander!"

I set those soldiers to guard their spots :) so I can snipe them. Also I was out of their range at about 1.5 - 1.8km. In good designed missions soldiers are on the move plus they have anti aircraft support which makes things more complicated. In my future videos you might see some of that...

Good job, but killing soft targets with HE rounds is easy, try harder targets and from longer distances trying to max out the gun. Change over to AP rounds and try to take out a BMP, only gets more challenging!!
