God created everything, he created diseases so that we may be compassionate towards one another. He did not leave us dead in the water, he also created plants that can cure diseases. It's not God's fault that some suffer from diseases, but our own fault for not offering medical aid to those in need. If life was all fun and games, compassion and love would not be necessary. God's call to each one of us is to love one another.

When Attenborough says, "some way or another, God said, 'I will create a worm that can only live by boring through people's eyes,'" he is talking to theistic evolutionists along with creationists.
