Brilliant - 1927, and my Mum was 19 years old. I have pictures of her where she looked just like Annette. I am sure all girls tried to copy her, although there aren't many girls today trying to look like Lady Ga Ga.

heard this on Sita sings the Blues. I didn't realize but they use a lot of these songs on commercials through the years. She would be like Gaga famous in today's time. Strange life, huh?

@Igaaboo that's my favorite scene in the movie! I love the juxtaposition of the demons getting hacked to bits by the monkey warriors while Sita sings.
