  • You got a little smudge on your like bar... let me get my rag and clean it up for ya

  • Wait whats the scripture reference?

  • @datafreak667 for what?

  • I'm sorry to hear you've had a poor encounter(s) with mormons. We're not all bad apples, but I hear ya. There a some who do come off as pretty aloof and judgemental, but in my experience, they tend to be the exception.

    God bless.

  • I totally agree with you about the arrogance. nice vid!!

  • @timwhite2005 thank you, I invite you to check out my other videos and comment on them as well

  • Yes, most Mormons are nice, just ignorant.

  • Like sheep in wolves clothing.

  • I would be careful not to judge a religion based on the members but on the principles and doctrines. If you don't agree with them that's fine. I found it contradictory protestants are quick to lump themselves with Catholics as mainstream Christians and quick to reject all others. I didn't know a certain religion owned the rights to all things Christian. Can a Muslim, a Jehovah's Witness, an Amish still not perform a Christ-like act though they are not categorized as Christian in your eyes?

  • @Ronaldo0710 many muslims are better people than me, more christ like in many more ways. I urge you to watch allsaintsmonatsery here on youtube and then you will understand this video better. We do not hold a view of saved or unsaved. thank you for your comment and thank you for being respectful. Peace to you

  • @Ronaldo0710 Christ-like act? Hilarious and horrific. Why not grow up and abandon this silliness? How long will you people argue and kill each other because you think your cult is better than the other cult? maybe I should say mythology instead of cult but you get the idea. Seriously, let it go.

  • We understand how things work, educate yourself, quit praying to gods out of fear and ignorance. Everything has a beginning and an end. Come to terms with your mortality and set yourself free of the bonds of mythology. If you don't free yourself of this life insurance policy, you'll never know what it feels like to be a good, moral person because it's the humanitarian thing to do, because it's the right thing to do.

  • @Husavikur exactly hell and heaven do not exist and there are no gods. thank you you summed up my video better than I could

  • @Husavikur : So, I'm suppose to let go of my belief system, for which I have not personally killed anyone nor plan to, nor argued with anyone over who is right, and you compromise nothing? Doesn't sound fair just demanding and bossy. I admire anyone who actually follows a religion's tenets. I continue to strive to do so & fail very often, but I feel that the easier road would be to give up and abandon hope. What's wrong with believing in more than what is present before me?

  • @Ronaldo0710 I can explain this to you but I cannot help you understand. I couldn't have been any more direct, nicer yes but I didn't mince words.I've said all I'm going to say

  • @Husavikur That's fine. I just found your words hurtful, but everyone is entitled to his opinions, thoughts, and freedom to express them.

  • i'd like to say alot of things to you but i am a mormon and i dont cuss so wang of you silly little git ehehe

  • @hidanrulesusuck thank you. I don't allow comments with threats or foul language to stay up. I am glad to meet a like minded individual. Peace to you

  • This is all so wrong. Go get lives and an education before you start dissing a belief system that you seem to know absolutely nothing about. This is senseless.

  • @RaspberrryRose I probably know more about the LDS than you do. It's only senseless to some one who does not value truth or beauty

  • good question at the end John.

  • Are you really a hut dweller? Looks like at tent.. What would a counterfeit of Satan look like? Maybe steal the name of Jesus Christ for the church, brag about works and keeping the commandments and claim the only truth?? This describes Mormonism.

  • @awolLDSasap My name is Yusef or in english Joseph. I live in Illinois. Mormonism denies every basic tenet of christianity. Mormonism is a "new gospel" which is no gospel at all. Mormonism denies the hypostatic union, the trinity and the work christ did on the cross. if that doesn't separate them from christianity than I don't know what would. Holding to the commandments and doing good works is probably the only thing I wouldn't fault them for But they believe they must work to be with G-d

  • @JohnTheHutDweller You're right. The Mormon 3rd article of faith, "their creed" demands obedience to some laws and ordinances before grace is offered.

  • @awolLDSasap how sad, Grace is an undeserved gift. they will never be christians because they are totally ignorant of what christ did, said and is doing now. peace to you

  • Couldn't have said it better. Mormons live in a box of self rightesouness.

  • May God condemn all Mormons who do not come to the truth and awaken from their ignorance.

  • @cosnowmomma Thank G-d for people like you.

  • Honey, I am a very nice queer Mormon.

  • Jehovahs witness, southern baptist, presbyterians, and many other groups like pentecostals are so American flag touting it is ridiculous. They are all the same story, political 'Christians' as if it possible.

  • @pandirasbox I agree.

  • Mormons are material beings and thus not savable

  • @pandirasbox let christ be the savior not you!!

  • @getdownto311 I don't see how that was a logical remark for one thing. Why do you say I have to let Christ be the Savior as if he needs mens approval? Christ saves by his power working through men. Your remark is childish, attain to maturity and put the childish things behind you.

  • If you olut all the works together sure

  • They are not even remotely Christian or Gnostic

  • They claim they teach the Trinity too and they don't

  • VERY ARROGANT THEY ARE

  • I totally agree. I debated two Mormon girls for 3 hours on my front porch on how their religion is a fraud disproven by all major Egyptologists.

  • It's an extremely legalistic religion. To be a good Mormon, you have to be in a state of prelest about yourself. They seem to encourage it. To those who pray for the grace to spend the rest of your life in repentance, it's a weird vibe.

My husband once invited in some missionaries bc he loves to argue. At one point he said "What about the Greek Orthodox?" and the kid said, "Have you ever met a Greek Orthodox?" at which point I popped out of the kitchen to say, "Hello, right here!" cont

  • @MrsShirotora "D'ya think we're mythical creatures? We ride unicorns to our churches on the moon maybe?" And only barely stopped myself from saying "Now get the hell outta my house!"

  • the pedophilia really is bothersome. it is documented that in the polygamist communities of the LDS that males around 16 or so are exiled because they are competition for the older men. they then live on the street turning to drugs and becoming rent boys because they have to choice, becoming victims themselves. the hierarchy of the LDS could stop this but doesn't. they should lose tax exemption status until they do.

  • Well said. Mormonism is indeed an ideology. It looks good on paper -- low crime, stable marriages, fertile women, good children, etc. By almost every metric they seem to be model Christians. But it's superficial -- like being a Stepford Christian. It doesn't come from inner charity and truth, but rather from a neurotic need to act like a perfect Christian. That's why they're horrified even by minor social deviance and diversity, things that a truly spiritual person wouldn't even notice.

  • @mediamancer Well spoken, thanks

  • @mediamancer : Anytime you attempt to speak for a group, you're going to be wrong. Your statements could be true for any religion if the majority of the people followed its teachings. I'm sure most religions practiced in the U.S. teach to do good to others. I know you questioning their motivation, but you do not know the thoughts and intents of others to such a degree to make this argument. Your statement, however, could be correct for an individual.

  • @Ronaldo0710 Actually, I don't question their motivations -- I'd much rather have a Mormon than a delusional liberal in the White House. I'm just saying the religion focuses on outer conformity instead of inner unity -- e.g their weekly sacrament is only symbolic, renewing commitments to the group. It isn't a metaphysical Communion with higher consciousness. (LDS doctrine itself admits this.) So it's like the legalistic Law vs. mystical Truth, where the mystical is a higher plane of niceness.

  • @mediamancer The LDS sacrament is symbolic, but when I take the sacrament I try my best to turn my thoughts and focus to God and Jesus Christ. I think of what my mistakes(sins) were that past week and think of Christ's selfless sacrifice and then recommit myself to God and His will. I fall short, but I do not take this lightly. There is no show, these are my personal thoughts. My commitment is to God, but we are all His and will help where possible. "Who is your neighbor?"

  • one thing I am learning is to be careful with generalizations of any kind. I attended a non-demonminational church today and some kind of message I got was really not from the pastor, but rather God. God is limitless. Simply put. He can work in any religion. It is man that seeks the boundaries and limits. Interesting...I had a good "mormon" friend. However, I imagine she was a good friend because she was that...a person and a friend. Not because she was a Mormon. :)

  • @John MORmONS judge all NON MORmONS as people that don't have the fullness of their Gospel. That is what makes MORmONS think they are better.

LDS MORmON PROPHET Gordon B. Hinckley stated:

"No I don't believe in the traditional Christ. The traditional Christ of whom they speak is not the Christ of whom I speak. For the Christ of whom I speak has been revealed in this the Dispensation of the Fullness of Times."Deseret News, Church News section,Salt Lake City,Utah, week ending June 20,1998,p.7

  • @llegalPlayer YOUR AT IT AGAIN! We treat everyone the same

  • Can you make a video about SDA? and are those count Christians?

  • @newtochrist LDS MORmONS worship Joseph Smith.

"If it had not been for Joseph Smith and the restoration, there would be no salvation. There is no salvation outside The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." (LDS Doctrines of Salvation, vol. 2, pp. 1-350.)

"If it had not been for Joseph Smith and the restoration, there would be no salvation. There is no salvation outside of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." LDS Mormon Apostle Bruce McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, p. 670

  • @llegalPlayer oh I meant SDA not LDS

    seven day advents

I am not sure why people in the US will go to Mormonism

I believe its not for a spiritual /Theological reason

because I know people convert to islam for friendship and money but not on Theological , or historical reasons

so maybe its the same with Mormonism , but anyway Thank you for the info

  • @newtochrist It's for psychological reasons -- two of them. First, the religion makes a ton of moral demands, which is itself attractive. Due to a quirk of human nature, strict religions are always more vital than liberal ones. Second, it's a patriarchal, micromanaging type of religion -- almost like a big cult. That pleases people who have a fundamentalist mind, and want to feel part of an exclusive, righteous family. Few religions offer this. (The Church does, via Orders like Opus Dei.)

  • @newtochrist I think its because they believe they will be a God on their own planet w multiple wives. Not for sure either though.
