Tried the second one with the braid. I have long hair without bangs and followed the directions with a side part and left out the front section. It looks pretty good. I was having trouble braiding in the mirror (getting the pieces mixed up) but managed enough for it to look decent. Thanks!

@ozzieozzoe hmm thats a tough one for me bc my hair is already pretty straight so it just stays.

one product that i have used though that really really made its stay super sleek all day for me was Herbal Essence's Flat Out Finishing Spray,

which is apart of the dangerously straight collection.but im not sure if thats still available.

another thing id recommend is Paul Mitchell's Super skinny Serum. but be careful on the amount you apply, a little goes a long way, and too much m means oily.

honestly it all depends on your hair type and how fast your hair grows.

think of the last time you got it cut and how short you cut it.now about how long would you say it took to grow out to how it is now.

thats really all i can say, it also depends on how healthy your scalp is, make sure in the shower as well as washing your hair, you also wash the scalp,if your scalps pores are clogged, your hair wont grow.

it took my hair about 6 months to get how long it is now from just below my shoulders.

my hair goes just past my elbows and thats after i got it cut to 2 inches past my shoulders 8 months ago. my hair gorws kind of slowly so i think i shouldnt take to long :)
