  • Alia, could I ask you, why is it only women that make Argan oil?

  • that's a very interesting comment. the answer below is just my own interpretation so not based on any scientific facts. Usually, women in the moroccan rural areas are the leading workforce: they bring the water from wells located far from home, they collect wood, cook, take care of the animals, and food products. so that's why you probably see the women working on the oil. they are the most hardworking there.

  • I should have guessed, most Moroccan men are lazy.

At least it's not just mine lol. If he reads this, I'm only joking ;-)

  • hey nice!! where did you learn make all that things because o'm from morocco, Agadir.. The only place where aragn is..xD i'm from there and i know very well how they make it,... and amlou as well...!

  • Hey Alia ,

it's me again ,tell me where can I find Argan oil (affordable price)

    I can't wait to make Amlou !!

  • it's very difficult to find Argan oil outside of Morocco. You can try to find an online store that sells it (internet) or buy it directly from my website where I list Moroccan good in my Amazon store so it's accessible to the viewers. it's under the "Essentials" tab, click "Essences" and you'll find a link to the amazon store. it's between 30-50 dollars. Personally, I buy it from there or I smuggle it from Morocco. :-D

    hope this helps!

    cheers

  • now I know why you are so adorable---all the argan oil!

  • mmm.. this is like almond butter... sounds good.

  • absolutely! you can actually buy almond butter, add to it Argan oil and honey and it would taste amazing. The Argan oil has a special taste, nutty, and sweet, I dont think I have tasted anything else that reminded me of Argan oil.

    cheers :-)

  • WHY DID THEY STOP SELLING THESE OILS.i AM LOOKING FOR MOROCCAN GOLD MIRICLE OIL (GOLD BOTTLE- NOT BLUE ONE) I WILL PAY BIG MONEY FOR THIS. PLEASE ADVISE.

  • i think you don't use that oil as a beauty product because you are naturally gorgeous. in iraq, i don't have an access to Argan oil, so i am going to try the recipe with light olive oil.
