Its not cheating, its called using Star Power to save yourself. When Star Power is activated, your rock meter goes up faster than normal.

no star power is a good thing and yes it does that, but u cant miss that many notes and get 5 stars, sorry but that had to be a cheat. i have the game, my cousin is a fucking nerd and has no life and can do that and bark at the moon on expert and not miss any... so yeah that was a cheat.
