I find it amusing that thousands of JD ''fans'' have failed to find what was probably the greatest set they ever played, this just go's to show how much of what comes out of a persons mouth and what they really want people to think of them when a camera and microphone are pointed at them differ...i need to step outside.
@BlackBox131 I agree: I taped greater part of this show during a radiobroadcast on Dutch Radio in 1980. It crashes all the other recordings I've heard, including all the bonuses of the Deluxe re-issues from a coupla years ago. I got my hands on a Factory-release (vinyl only) of the Paradiso-gig, but haven't had the opportunity to play it yet, due to lack of decent recordplayer available.. :-)
@DjElSemtex ..Very nice..i first got a tape copy of this from a ''record shop'' in the old flea market in southend in the mid 80s,i had most of the other live gigs and was disappointed with the recordings but thought i would get this anyway, this tape however was unlike any other i had heard, also i think the tempo change transforms the music, also i seem to remember on the tape i had the last track was an astonishing version of Sound of Music.
excellent recording, brings back memories.
