I'm so confused! on your right hand you play the keys at different times, after you playthem all a the same time, and do you play the c? cos you dont put it up, could you tell me in what order you play the keys? thanks :) thats the first one
@lucezlo Yes, on this one, you play the chord first, then break up the same chord into individual notes. You can play those notes in a ny order you like. It just mimics the guitar on the song.
I'm so confused! on your right hand you play the keys at different times, after you playthem all a the same time, and do you play the c? cos you dont put it up, could you tell me in what order you play the keys? thanks :)
I love your videos! You make learning these songs so simple. I did Oh! Darling yesterday and this one today, and after only a little practice, I can play them easily. Thanks!
I just started playing piano and this song is perfectly simple for me right now, not to mention its one of the first songs i have recollection of hearing and loving when i was 3 years old, so its very dear and special to me. Thank you so much for the tutorial!
just wondering how exactly did you learn to play all these songs? because i love the beatles and i love playing like jazz and stuff like that where all im given are the chords... but to be honest i cant bring myself to memorize all of your tutorials O.O do you know of a website devoted to beatles fakes?
@richyroves I don't know where there might be a fake book of Beatles songs, but I would think there has to be one out there somewhere. I've learned these songs over the course of 30 years, so they're just kind of set in my mind at this point.
Haha, I know I have been commenting on quite a few of your videos lately, but I just can't help it - your playing is exquisite! And now, I can play this song.. Thanks again :) It's so beautiful, playing this is like a lullaby.
thank you for all the tutorials. they're great and i've learned so much! if you're open to suggestions, i would love to learn wanderlust by mccartney... just throwing it out there :)
I really like that many of your versions are more authentic than their official sheet music (often rearranged). But this one is not, the original sheet music from the 'Beatles Complete' volumes is correct, this is good, but not in the right key I think.
John, perfect song. I gotta say, the top of your head reminds me of George Martin's (Beatles record producer) hair. Good playing and thanks for the tutorial.
Thank you Piano John, you are good brother! You explain this stuff so well that I can even play it, and I'm just an old self-taught guitar player. A tip of the I Appreciate It hat to you, keep up the good work of spreading music to people.
That was beautiful! I have never learned so much from an online lesson. Would you happen to know how to do "Real Love"? I would LOVE to learn that one.
Wow man you're amazing! Why can't all musicians share their knowledge like you do?!
Keep up the AWESOME work!! PLEASE!
I see that you're a beatles fan which is awesome cause they freaken rock!!
However i was wondering if you could do "WIth a little help from my friends" or "I've just seen a face"? Or even both, that'd be fanstastic. But either one is fine! Thanks so much!!
By the way - i subscribed as soon as i saw the first video!!
Thanks! Yes, in fact Good Night was one that I did a few months ago and deleted it from the camera by mistake. I'll try to do another one on that very soon.
On the second chorus where we transition from D to the "CDE" - C, chorus part, the transition occurs on C-B rather than on D like the first time. So I'm having issues timing the transition with the little A-C-F#-G thing before the "CDE" - C.
You are the best teacher. Man, I try to find a piano teacher that will teach like this and they'll insist on teaching from one of those lame ass adult piano books. Request, and I think it would be very prudent...Instant Karma. I'm dying to learn it. Thanks.

@patrickkquinn2 That's it, you got it. The RH chord breaks up slightly into a mini-arpeggio.

Is it : low d with right chord; high d before first two right chord notes; right chord?

It is correct, and the key is correct as well. It's a guitar song that I translated to piano, so improvisation on some individual notes was required.
