Great tutorials. I am completely new to StarCraft, by I just picked up SC2 and have only play an RTS several times before. I had no idea what I was doing, and overall just did not know the basics of SC. This really helped me out, thank you.

I am new to this game not sure if you mention in later vids but how many (roughly) probes gathering resources should you have, you mention 3 for gas but how about other resources.

@lividfiend That's a great question!! Unfortunately the answer is not static like the vespene gas, although, it is not good practice to have more than 2-3 probes per mineral patch. Blizzard recommends 3 and pros will recommend 2. My suggestion is that once you get around 2-3 workers for each mineral patch you SHOULD have an expansion (another base) built and ready to go. When this base is ready you will want to transfer almost half of your workers to the new base EVEN if your not out at themain

@TruAzn100 It depends on the situation, although; a marine only army is vulnerable to a few units (especially banelings). Check out my new tutorial Starcraft 2 :: Beginner's Tutorial II** it will hit on this point when I review Terran.

At around 8 mins the video goes black BTW but very cool video I wish the video was there since I could understand it better lol. Anyway Ive always been afraid of SC because of the huge number of Vets but now I might give it a chance it looks complicated enough but not so bad that I couldn't learn it. Especialy since this video makes it easy

I have to be honest dude, it's a good tutorial but with all your videos having low graphics in SC2. It can really bring down your views and such because people do care about it. I do enjoy your commentaries though.

@onecentnickel Ya I agree with you. At the moment it is what I have to work with, although, I plan on building a PC by the release of Starcraft 2. At that point I will have maxed settings. Hopefully it won't be too late.
