Any player from any era can only play what's in the league during their career. Jordan was the best during his era, especially from 1990-1998. If he hadn't retired to play baseball, Chicago may have won 8 titles in a row. Jordan had to fight to get past the Celtics, Lakers and Pistons, but once he got on top he was unstoppable, 2 3-peats in 8 years is almost impossible in any era. Jordan' s last game in Madison square garden(against arch-rival NY Knicks) he got a standing ovation.
