@Mokona7654 Nah, HG SS doesn't work unfortunately. Just borrow someones DS, trade all your HG / SS pokemon you want onto your copy of D/P, and there you go.

If you have any friends with a D/P, ask them to borrow it, or ask them to come over to give it to your Plat . HG/SS. They'll be glad to get data of Mew, as I was.

I'm buying this game on friday :D Catching so many Starlys and Bidoofs for my D / P [I have both].

If nothing else works, rent a copy from a video shop, then trade, or simply get an R4.

For this, we'll have to do a complex formula to see if you'll be able to get Hayley's Mew even though you already one (assuming the one you have is not Hayley's Mew):

1 Mew + 1 Hayley's Mew = 2 Mew. So yeah, I'd say you're all set!

@kizzeyk if they are from the same save file, you can. But if you transfer, for example, a starter into pokemon ranch and then start a new game on Pearl or Diamond, the starter in the ranch won't be able to be transfered back
