I think its long past due for us to find some tasteful ways to laugh at ourselves, not the victims, about how we come to terms with 9/11. Obviously Ken Schramm takes himself way too seriously. Did he even know anyone who died on 9/11? Can he name one?
I think you should insist on it! It might have been more mature of him to just ignore the song if it really bothered him, but good for you he didn't! All publicity is good as long as they spell your name right.
Heh. Not Aristocats, Aristocrats. Very very different. "The Aristocrats" is a dirty joke (a documentary was made about the joke), while "The Aristocats" is the Disney movie.
The joke fits into the theme of the song. It's not that I want to tell the joke, but don't tell me I can't.
dude anyone that tries to achieve any type of fame from the 9-11 tragedy is lame, if anyone deserves the schrammie you do, you have certainly earned it. I suppose the word empathy is very foreign to you.
echo2k5: despite the lies from Ken Schram, I never tried to achieve fame from anything. When I sent him the song, I didn't even provide a link to my web site! Just the song itself. I thought people would like it, and most do, and did. To the few who didn't, oh well.
The sad thing is that you don't understand the song is ATTACKING people who don't take 9/11 seriously. That is called SATIRE.
LOVE IT! Makes me wanna close my eyes and reminisce of the late 60s and Bob Dylan....or are we seeing sparks of it happening again....seen some of those Big bell bottom pants last time I went shopping at the mall...tempted to buy but passed....
Thanks. I wrote the song last year after watching the Dylan documentary No Direction Home, the part where Joan Baez was going on about how Dylan wouldn't be a part of her movement. So the song is entirely an homage to Dylan.
i like your songs :)

I got it now, though. Look at one of my latest videos, or just search for "Schrammie."

Do you have a thing for classic Disney movies?
Peter Pan and Robin Hood are the best. And Aladin.
