@jobbeybob if you knew what happened to sly when he was born you wouldn't have hit out with that and also why he struggled to get an acting career most of the rocky films are based on his struggles to be a movie star and all the stick he had to take
at one point he stayed outisde someones office the whole the night until the next day to try and convince him to make him an actor
@TylerCharlesFisher I understand your view. Why should he call off the fight for his son? To protect his son's insecurities and further enable his victimization (poor me)? That "profound wisdom", as you called it, is just that. Wouldn't the world be a better place if we spent more time teaching people to fish rather than giving them a fish? Thanks for posting.
@TylerCharlesFisher He's teaching his son to be tough and not a pushover. His son is asking him out of weakness and he won't let his son be weak. Parents nowadays don't seem to get that, so we have what they call, "generation apathy", a generation of weak people who don't feel too much about anything because they haven't had to fight for anything.
