Mvg
@audentitytime Hi, the middle synth on the left is the JX305 Groovesynth from Roland. I use it as a sequencer/midi-controller and it has some very nice '80s '90s sounds in it, and a very nice arpeggiator.
Recently I bought a second one and linked it to the first one via midi, which gives me double (16) the recording channels in it's sequencer.
It's the synth-version of the MC505 Groovebox, released in 1993.
Good thing to up your coarse forworks, as people can see that making synth songs is not easy at all, and requieres alot of time. Not just pressing a button ^^
Don't be shy, I also take various lenght time to finalize, but even when I've finished and the video is done, I still change this and that !
There are pretty good atmospheric elements in this rush, can do a long or two songs with ^__^
Hello! It's very nice, however you should change the main theme (it becomes a little bit too repetitive, even if the background is evolving quite fine!). Keep on going!
Thank you for the nice comment. As I said earlier, this is just an idea I'm working on, consider it a study of sounds, nothing more ;) But thanks for the hints and tips, I'll work on it!
Really nice atmosphere Dave, and great to see you at the chair:) ....love that sound coming from the synth middle on your right. always great to see live performances in synth/electro. You seem to have a flair for scoring...something about the key changes.....
Thanx Mick for your honest comment, means a lot coming from you.
As I stated: this was just a melodic tryout, which I will perfect in the future. I didn't get the 'key-transposes' right on time for the arpeggiator, but I'll work on that.
The sound you like is coming from the second JD800, it's a factory patch called Sci-Fi Groove, which I tweaked and then ran through the internal fx so it sounds like a flanged delay of some kind, I quite liked the outcome too, it fitted the atmosphere :)
I just sent mik300z this video, I'm sure he will comment and give you his opinion. I personally think that what you are doing is utterly fantastic. thnx
thats true my friend, i am impressed over how you use such old keyboard today. my self is having a dx7 mark 1 and tx802 modul and roland xp80 and korg karma, not the latest products but it works for me. in future i will get me a korg oasys or a 88 keys of korg m3. i have looked at the last keyboards from yamaha and roland is awsome stuff. but since omnisphere come there is software synths who rules now. but is expensive. but awsome to listen too what sounds man what sounds!!! try it.
Thanks for the comment, I said I only want to put out MY OWN music, and I can imagine that not all people are gonna like it, but hey, there are as many types of music like there are as many colours on a painter's board. Choose what you like, and let your own ears be the only true judges ;)
