dead set hardly works, tide is way to low and scratches along the sharp reef. Went for a couple of months once scored ok waves nothing to write home about!
I've been surfing in Vanuatu for 7 years now and I've nevr seen this place break like that. Around christmas time last year we had a few freak westerly swells from cyclones off Australia and alot of the setups were breaking in opposite directions. This spot is generally onshore in the trade winds and it looks like it was a big groundswell for it to be getting in there. Hey .. it's got potential and I'll definately be looking at it in the next cyclone swell. Thanks for the vid. ta
there's surf at a couple of places, but this right hander near the resort is not on the surf travel map, but man was it tasty, i reckon it could hold about 5 foot, but that's just a guess, the dirty word......"potential"
it looks kinda small but.. needs a bit more swell to work!

this was at tara beach resort, run by locals.
