More musical, groove-oriented, and creative than any drummer that auditioned for DT (yes that includes Mangini, whom I still do have utmost repsect for as a drummer).

Minnemann is now in my top drummers, along with Rich, Harrison, Peart, Chambers, & Mayer.

I have a problem with his timing like M.P. but most of all Aquiles Priester has.

And I realy think Mike Mangini is the next Dream Theater drummer.

@maryamaryau Just a rumor at this point but one with apparently strong enough evidence that its on Blabbermouth. I actually had pretty conclusive evidence before this that it was Mike Mangini, but now I'm not sure. Both would be great choices.

Yes Marco is one of the greatest drummers alive. He can play everything and anything:-) From the most simple and perfect groove to the oddest time signatures, also play different time signatures with each limb, play 3 different together and improvise with the only limb left.... He's a genius, always hungry for new techniques.... Impossible to feed. Passionate. And a really nice guy!
