Most Democrats don't do anything for America. We need a President that follows the constitution and challenges this administration. Ron Paul and Kucinich voted in the best interest of Americans. I was going to vote Democratic, but I wanted to vote on someone that shared a common interest for America. I'm going to vote for Ron Paul. Heck, I was registered as Democrat and changed it to Republican just so I could vote for him in the primaries.

I misspoke here in the heat of the action. Obama was in the Senate when they passed the Military Commissions Act in 2006. He also didn't do a damn thing to lead the Democrats on that fight. Well, actually there was no fight -- as usual. Just a meek vote where the Democrats bowed their heads and Bush got exactly what he wanted -- as usual.

I agree, it's depressing. But it's been said over and over. We're suckers and would vote for democrates anyway. The only recourse is the primaries, you've said it yourself.  But who's gonna stand up ? I wish some of the netroots would actually stand up and take the fight rather than support it from the sidelines. It's great that Lieberman was taken out of the Democratic party, but a well known blogger or netroot member defeating a current democrate would be something else.
